  1. Mack is the type of player than transcends scheme. He'll get a contract in Oakland. He's got "Vegas Star" written all over him.
  2. Interesting read... https://medium.com/@kaistinchcombe/decentralized-and-trustless-crypto-paradise-is-actually-a-medieval-hellhole-c1ca122efdec
  3. Hindsight is great, but it doesn't really say anything about 2018 pro prospects? I'm sure that in 1983, all of those guys were 1st round potential, with their own lists of pros and cons.
  4. There continues to be a very wide gap between what the general public thinks of Allen and what NFL decisions makers will think of Allen.
  5. Blue Brothers is my #1, very family friendly. Kingpin is also up there.
  6. With the benefit of hindsight in evaluating player, I am sure every analyst, coach or front office man out there has ate some major crow.
  7. When these nostalgia threads come up, I find myself digging through grainy YouTube footage, watching the Bills greats like Smith, Thomas and company just shredding the opposition. They are all clips I've watched countless times, but I'll reinforce again, Smith could beat any tackle like a drum. Power, spin moves, violent hands, just mauling guys. I doubt we'll ever see a defensive player that good, for that long, again.
  8. The movie sucked, but I chuckled at the ending of San Andreas, where they show the new island of West Silicon Valley. The scenario that forms California Island is a bit of "fake news".
  9. Belichick will go CB, DE or DT like he always does.
  10. Tough you have to leave Big Sky country...
  11. I've watched a few Youtube highlight reels and read some public scouting reports on him. I totally know how to judge Josh Allen's potential as a pro.
  12. You are underselling this team. He comes here and he has a stable head coach and an elite running back next to him. That's a pretty good situation.
  13. Old read from 6 months ago, but a good one. Talks about the differences between what the general public and NFL teams see in Allen... http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2737050-matt-millers-scouting-notebook-josh-allen-the-nfl-and-the-huge-twitter-debate
  14. It's an assumption, but a very rational and logical one. If you're giving up a 1st rounder, it should be for a very proven and young asset that can help you long term. You should expect to pay them market value. They wanted it in Sammy and had to give up a late 2nd rounder, but it didn't work out. They'll keep swinging.
  15. Nope, they made this deal with the intent of signing him to a contract. He'll only get more expensive. It is in their best interest to sign him now. Sammy was a big time bust. They took it on the chin, moved on and are reinvesting into a better player at a position of need.
  16. Rosen isn't just a tennis player, he was a tennis prodigy man!
  17. Rip it out and xeriscape / garden instead.
  18. Rams had a hole at receiver. They just filled it with a 24 year old receiver with 3 consecutive 1,000 yard seaons. On paper, it hurts the Patriots, so I love the move. Draft picks don't mean jack until you do something with them.
  19. I'm not certain that accuracy can be further developed, but the intrigue of an accurate Josh Allen is going to be too much for any team to pass up. The Bills at 12 are his floor.
  20. It's crazy how they are ready to move on, despite him not even playing in a game. He must be that bad! Hack was never considered this high, he was always a round 2-3 guy, not top 10. I think Allen's measurables are much more impressive.
  21. Interstate 80 has eliminated that concern.
  22. Nope, but you should have something. Yes, all cities have airports to get out of dodge. This isn't Somalia.
  23. San Diego. Crete IL property? LOL. Looks bland. Even though a move back to WNY would mean lower salaries, and we'd pay way more in taxes, we've always viewed it as a cheaper lifestyle. We'll likely never move back.
  24. Speaking as who has lived 1800 miles away for years, it's the nostalgia of Buffalo that I love the most. The food? It's fine, but not particularly refined or fresh. The outdoor activities? Pretty good on the water, meh on the land based activities. The people? Like anywhere, there are good people and !@#$s. The real joy of Buff, is that for better or worse, things haven't really changed much in a while. In a world of change, it is a constant.
  25. Every year, players go way higher than they should, and other players slide for no rational reason. Expecting every team to work the ESPN/NFL big board top to bottom is foolish. I Yep, you have to get behind the fact that one of the top QBs, barring something completely unforeseen, will be a Bill at the end of this month.
