  1. Hopefully he can run faster than that reported 5.0 forty time.
  2. I guess not in terms of running a pro-style offense in the dated sense of the term. Pro offenses are incorporating more and more "college" designs into their playbooks. That is what we have heard a lot about Daboll, too. I think what I was trying to say is that Allen is by far more raw overall, not in the specific context of running a pro style offense, but also that (a) the idea of pro style vs college style offense is changing and (b) given that change, Mayfield might actually be less raw in terms of familiarity with the designs Daboll plans to run.
  3. What about Edmunds from Va Tech? Or is he only projected to play OLB? I like Jewell. Seems like the process type. I also like Scales from Indiana - ultra productive albeit less-than-ideal measurables.
  4. I think this is incorrect. I think most posters view Allen as the most raw top QB prospect.
  5. Wish we had the opportunity to overpay Watkins...
  6. "I'm back guys, I'm back!!!"
  7. Just echoing what has already been said, but any organization without a franchise QB that is doing its due diligence should be making that call.
  8. That could just be a matter of our doctors talking to their doctors.
  9. He completely disappeared in the Super Bowl.
  10. Eh, most years I'd agree, but I think Cleveland can give FAs plenty of R$E$A$S$O$N$S to become a Brown.
  11. I can't disagree that Cleveland probably offered the most for Taylor. We may have gotten a 3rd from another team, but who knows. I think, regardless, once a trade is part of recent history, it impacts overall market value. I don't actually think Taylor's value is all that directly indicative of Glenn's value though.
  12. Introducing... the Joe Webb Starter Package! Sounds like a cable deal.
  13. fwiw After the announced switch to the 3-4, Tamba Hali was the player most worried about in dealing with the switch of positions. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/236059-the-new-look-for-tamba-hali-and-kansas-city-chiefs (2009)
  14. I mean, comp pick formula.
  15. I think looking at the Duane Brown trade gives us the best possible glimpse at what Glenn's value should be. SEA got: Brown & HOU's 2018 5th round pick HOU got: SEA's 2018 3rd round pick and 2019 2nd round pick Generally, when you trade a pick from next year, it is valued at one round less for this year. So, HOU basically got two 3rd round picks, if that makes sense. I would think two 3rd round picks should be at least as much as one 2nd round pick. Maybe we could send Glenn and a 5th for a 2nd?
  16. If Taylor can return the first pick in the 3rd round, so long as he's healthy, Glenn should return better than that.
  17. I feel like the fact the Bills are hosting a back-up QB should give fans optimism about the possibility of trading up and securing one of the top QBs in the draft.
  18. If true, I think pretty much every team will be in cap hell.
  19. Blue - no! Yellow - aghhhhhhhhhh!
  20. If it wasn't you, then it was gonna be me. 1, 2, 5! 3 sir! 3!
  21. Not dispositive, but: The Bills signed former Giants DE Owa Odighizuwa, who was suspended for the first four games of last season for violating the leads substance abuse policy.
