  1. save it lol nobody who knows football is denigrating Lamar. He's having an historically great season
  2. Ravens settled in too 17 total points, 4.4 ypp and entire Chiefs second half went punt/punt/punt/punt/punt The Chiefs offense definitely doesn't roll everyone else like they do us
  3. Chargers commanders would be an interesting game Think I have Bucs over Texans but agree w the rest
  4. It won't matter imo. The criteria is too malleable and the sentiment against him too weirdly consistent I hope Allen really doesn't care about the MVP like he says because it's not going to happen
  5. This is the real point imo You'd have to be absolutely clueless to NOT run a successful offense here. Allen can handle just about anything at this point...his ability to adapt to various systems is an underrated part of his game
  6. Needs to recognize coverage there Allen is staring him down waiting
  7. Not to change the subject but this play is exactly why Kincaid hasn't taken the next step this yr and it's mostly between the ears Allen IDs man zero presnap but Kincaid doesn't. He needs to understand he's hot there and get his head around for the ball immediately and then just walk into the end zone. Instead he just runs his route, Allen has to tuck it and make something extraordinary happen
  8. im actually looking forward to it also heck we've had great defenses that go to pieces in the playoffs before so why shouldn't we have a mediocre one that suddenly finds its form this season i mean it's only fair
  9. correct although i would clarify 'historic production' to say historic production as a function of points/yards gained. I'm pretty sure we are dramatically overproducing on points relative to our yardage. Some of this is definitely a credit to Brady and the players re: cutting down on turnovers (although many, many people rightfully pointed out last season was itself an outlier in terms of negative turnover variance and this season is a bit of an overcorrection ) but imo the vast majority of that discrepancy can be attributed to Allen and his frankly one-of-a-kind ability to avoid negative plays (notably sacks) while also generating TDs and first downs at a top of the league rate.
  10. Agree That's what I've been saying There's no adequate holy ***** metric yet
  11. 😂😂I think they should amend it then I mean being drafted by the jets is the functional equivalent of a career threatening injury
  12. trust me i have gone over this enough times to know the 'Andy Reid did it' thing is a red herring the argument should be looked at from the Eagles perspective, not Reid's
  13. Yes I love beating the patriots
  14. I don't mean to minimize what Darnold has done because he's been great for them and it's cool to see a guy resurrect his career...great story no doubt. They got way better w him 100% I just think in totality there are competing reasons why the Vikings are winning and that may influence his MVP candidacy Wonder if he's eligible for comeback POY or something like that
  15. Jefferson missed half of last season And Flores' defense is most responsible for their turnaround imo
  16. easy answer Fins they're potentially down their starting QB and we are 9-1 over the last 10 games vs them
  17. 100% this keep filling the pipeline
  18. Yes But that's about as tough a row to hoe as I can think of tbh Will require three consistently excellent performances
  19. He wasn't even the best player on offense, that was Higgins if you ask me
  20. Zay Flowers is a top10 WR in the league
  21. @Einstein Is there the ability to break down offensive and defensive personnel/packages/coverage scheme/fronts etc on a per game basis
  22. yes i agree, i dont either. the time to integrate him was the first week he got here i do know that he's the only guy who has the emergency button ability to get open vs man for those easy first down looks diggs provided. that does show up on film. they're just struggling to fit his skillset into the offense holistically rn and i'm hesitant to believe that's going to change just because we get to the postseason the bigger shame honestly is that they didn't recognize the need for him (or anyone similar) earlier
