I'm just begging people to actually look at the film, decide for themselves what's actually available in this offense vs what another QB might reasonably be expected to produce, and then decide your standard of play

if you look at some of the other gameday threads you will see post after post of 'why is that guy so open' now granted- some of that is just the wr winning. but a lot of it is design. i really wish people would watch more chiefs games, specifically how those annoying little stick/option underneath are presented to Mahomes. it's just a different level of understanding how to attack a defense

think about what that means tho the Chiefs went 15-2 and made the SB w Mahomes playing like maybe the 7th-10th best QB in the league and we somehow need Allen to play better than MVP caliber to do it that's not a QB issue

yup fyi this is the one i was talking about. Allen widens Cook presnap and it's there. it's blocked up well, Coleman doesn't get a perfect rub on the LB but this ball needs to go to Cook

I think pass pro is in his head again Look at the wheel to cook he tucked and I think took a sack on. It was there, got the LB match and all... he just doesn't trust what he's seeing and feeling rn

I've watched this one a couple times now tbh I think Allen could have flipped his hips and thrown at the very last second (like5-6 frames from this one) but it's not an easy play by any means and you should be able to pick up 2 yards in a way more simple manner

i think that is the point they claim to want to play 'complementary football' and then couple an offense that cant generate explosive plays w a defense that gives up 24 points and 400 yards in the first half dedicating themselves to small ball was a poor choice but it's the bed they made

please keep in mind- this is actually the offense they wanted. we are currently 3rd in the league in first downs/game, 1st in Time of possession, 9th in punts/play...this is the exact kind of ball control grind it out type offense they set out to create

yes it's more than a little depressing it only took vrabel 6 games to get to the top of the division

imo it looks like on coaches tape they are attempting to address our tendency to telegraphy pass/run plays by having Dawkins line up in run look and then jump backwards into pass pro only problem is it's not fooling the defense so all it means is that he's a step too far forward in his kick slide and is getting beat its not good
