  1. or not go empty there you may not know where it's coming from but it seems pretty obvious they're bringing pressure when you go empty like why is ty johnson lined up outside lol
  2. nobody will want to hear this but they didn't even empty the clip vs us can almost guarantee they've been saving a bunch of looks for the SB
  3. i don't know lol it's weird to me that all of a sudden it's en vogue to blame the QB for a blitz getting thru...it happens all the time.
  4. i actually think their safety #6 (Cook?) misplays it he comes down on Ty Johnson instead of carrying Kincaid...Allen needed to hold the ball until he committed
  5. also- why are people acting like a blitz getting home is just a matter of calling out a bad line shift lol usually you just tip your cap to the defense instead of blaming the QB especially when he actually makes the miracle play to get the ball into the receiver's hands
  6. 100% that's why i take no comfort in 'Brady and the Pats didn't win EVERY Super Bowl, we can sneak one' Brady and the Pats never did this. These guys are better and they're not going anywhere
  7. worse not necessarily because of us. but the realization that this Chiefs team is probably the best in the history of the league.
  8. exactly how I saw it too fwiw Everything was difficult for us and almost everything was available for them. They had easy answers on offense every series and moving the ball against their defense was a struggle. and even w all that, after being made to suffer and claw the whole game...we still had a chance at the end. That is why I am so bummed about the Kincaid drop. We were never winning that game w out someone making a special play because we had been so outclassed the entire time and he had it right there in his hands and let it slip away. Those are the moments you have got to seize. imo we had no real business being only 3 down w the ball to score the potential winning TD. In fact as I said I think if that game gets played 100 times we are winning fewer than 10. But it was there for the taking and we just couldn't close the deal and I'm not sure we will ever get a better opportunity to beat them tbh. I mean they used Perine on Benford to get the game sealing first down ffs 😂😂just a complete middle finger from Reid about how easy it is for them vs us
  9. id like to see if he's hitting his irons better tbh
  10. I'm saying there's a difference between normal scramble drill and a free play
  11. I can't say that Maybe it serves to let guys know scramble drill is on. Maybe it serves to encourage the flag Regardless I've seen Mahomes do it too. Probably other QBs as well...it might just be instinctual
  12. I don't believe the margin is razor thin is the problem If that game we just played vs chiefs gets run 100x I think we win fewer than 10. Maybe a lot fewer
  13. we could have not traded Mahomes to KC we could have beaten them the first AFCCG when they won a SB we could have beaten them last yr's divisional when they won a SB we could have not traded them Worthy who beat us this yr's AFCCG when they are about to win a SB we made the Chiefs. this is our fault
  14. David Tyree didn't HAVE TO make that catch. But if they wanted to win the Super Bowl he did kind of have to make that catch
  15. like it or not we made Mahomes and the Chiefs its outright hilarious to me people talking like there's nothing we could have done to prevent it.
  16. not only is it a route more suited to Cooper's skillset...it's reactionary it's like they saw Worthy getting busy and thought 'hey we have a rookie WR too, let's get him going' and against McDuffie of all people
  17. Meh I guess over preparedness and under manifest similarly so not sure the distinction is meaningful Regardless I'm chuckling in the light of day about how inadequate our preparation was. As if the Chiefs weren't holding stuff back against us because they didn't want to show it to the Eagles before the SB...there are levels
  18. it was patently obvious to me how unprepared we were players were not put in positions to succeed
  19. yeah not only did he point out the penalty he kept the play alive long enough to make sure the ref threw the flag before taking the shot to Coleman Allen is so next level that Romo didn't even understand what was going on.
  20. adding on I would encourage folks to watch the throwaway to Shakir on the last series. Some of the most amateurish play design I've ever seen...it's ostensibly a fake TE screen complete w Kincaid doing a little hop and reach. Coleman and Shakir don't sell the blocks at all, Shakir in fact gets hung up on his release of the guy he's supposed to be pretending to block. Coleman is running a 9 to hold the safety and Shakir looks like he's supposed to run the seam but mysteriously decides to jog right into coverage. Literally none of the DBs or LBs are even slightly confused. so so bad
  21. We ran EZ fade to Coleman vs McDuffie that was an actual play that was called
