  1. Intangibles are nice but talent wins in the NFL doubt any GM is taking him anywhere near where you think, just too many better players available
  2. im not sure about the redraft but i think in terms of tiers he's in the middle-top of the third tier first tier are the bonafides like chase, jefferson, lamb etc. for me it's not a huge tier, maybe 5-8 guys second tier is deep w guys not quite best-of-the-best but good enough to be legit 1s regardless of scheme plus older former legit guys- nico collins, drake london, nacua, addison, arsb, waddle, adams, kupp etc. probably like 20-25 guys here third tier is also pretty deep w young guys and just-outside-second tier wideouts- btj/nabers/mhj, your calvin ridleys/dj moores/brandon aiyuks...i think shakir is comfortably in this one too, maybe in the 35-40ish range?
  3. ok so eagles ofc cowboys- behind ceedee and pickens commanders- behind mclaurin and deebo rams- behind nacua and adams seahawks- behind kupp and jsn niners even maybe behind aiyuk and jennings altho i could go either way there tbh falcons probably behind london and mooney altho close bucs behind evans and godwin vikings behind jefferson/addison heck i think he might be third on the bears definitely behind arsb and williams on lions and thats just nfc
  4. imo there's more to wonder about wrt the offense than just allen's negative play rate...we had a pretty big delta between points scored and yards gained, typically they correlate within a couple spots of each other in terms of rank. unless we stand to gain a not insignificant amount more yards this season than last i could see points regressing
  5. is that even true tho last year he wouldn't have been #2 on 50% of the AFC east
  6. 2022 his rookie year The one we were discussing
  7. Dotson and Samuel were teammates for two years and dotson averaged more yards/game and y/r plus more TDs just fyi
  8. Ok give me the 5depth guys who would start over him lol
  9. allen has a 6.25:1 TD/INT ratio in the playoffs brady is at 2.2:1 allen makes way fewer mistakes in the postseason than Brady
  10. Or as he's more commonly known AFC Jared Goff
  11. I mean he's clearly 1 but whatever
  12. @BringBackFergyi have one for you similar to the cow three guests check into a hotel room. the guy at the counter says the room is $30 so they each pull out a ten and head up. Couple minutes later the guy realizes the room is at discount for only $25 so he gives one of the room cleaners 5 $1 bills and tells him to go up and reimburse them. On the way up the room cleaner decides to keep $2 and when he gets up to the room gives each guest a dollar back. So he steals $2 but each of the guests is happy for the discount. now they each get a $1 discount on their $10 for $9. There are 3 guests for $27 and the room cleaner pocketed $2. where did the last dollar go
  13. parachutes
  14. well it's a rate stat so i wouldn't expect it to change much from season to season
  15. you probably didnt include playoffs
  16. yes i was expecting kelvin benjamin and we're trending devin funchess
  17. Eh it wasn't that similar Mahomes threw them out of the game. Hurts wasn't exactly lighting it up in the first half
  18. Right The guy I responded to originally was asking why our dline doesn't get after the QB like the Eagles did in the SB...as you say different responsibilities make for different outcomes defensively A simple way of saying it would be that (and granted I don't watch a ton of the Eagles so this is strictly a Super Bowl observation) they used their pass rush to contain the Chiefs downfield whereas we tend to do the opposite and rely primarily on coverage to dictate/muddy up reads fundamentally different approaches (again one game sample)
  19. i mean inasmuch as running the ball means Allen by definition can't throw a pick on that play then yes, I agree runs tend to correlate w QBs turning the ball over less. But I will basically never agree that taking the ball out of Allen/Mahomes hands in service of preventing turnovers is a good concept offensively
  20. iirc the Eagles were kind of middle of the pack in 2024 wrt sacks They just kind of came alive during the playoffs and esp the Super Bowl. I mean Josh Sweat looked like Lawrence Taylor out there and he's just ok
