  1. Daboll consistently schemed up good plays all season only for the Bills players to not execute. Whether it was missed blocks, penalties, missed deep balls to wide open targets or dropped passes. I don't see how anyone could have watched this season and felt Daboll didn't do a good job, given the mental errors by his players and the limited resources he had at his disposal. Personnel issues were questionable at times, but for the most part I think he did a really good job calling plays.
  2. The Bills played arguably the worst divisions in football from each conference this year in the NFC East and AFC North. Next year they play arguably the best from each conference, in the AFC West and NFC West. I get that a lot can change, but anyone saying this year's results don't matter relative to next year is smoking something. We also draw two very tough games after finishing 2nd in our division, having to face the Steelers (presumably with Roethlisberger instead of Hodges) and the Titans. I also expect the Jets and Dolphins to be better. I still expect 10 wins, but the schedule will certainly make things challenging.
  3. They mean something. I mean, Seattle, San Fran and KC aren't going to be as bad as the Giants, Bengals and Redskins were this year. We had a cupcake schedule this year. It will be significantly harder next season.
  4. I agree with all of your points. I'd also add one more which is that Allen often fails to recognize an all out blitz when it's coming and thinks he'll have way more time to throw than he actually does. His pre snap recognition isn't the best. He also struggles to beat man coverage because he doesn't naturally throw with anticipation. He's better at beating zone because when guys are open, they're open and he's got the arm strength to beat defenders who are sitting in zone, waiting to break on the ball. When he needs to anticipate a small window, he often struggles. With how good the upcoming wide receiver class is, I hope the Bills double dip. Grab one early and grab one late and really build out the depth chart. The Bills showed against Houston they aren't married to playing Beasley when they played Duke ahead of him for much of the game. The Bills need to do whatever it takes to add talent to the WR position, and with so much talent available it could be a good year to grab another guy in the 4th round. Because there is so much talent available at that position, there might be a late 2nd/early 3rd talent available when we pick in the 4th round.
  5. The Bills need to knock it out of the park this offseason, and guys like Allen, Ford and Knox need to take a big step next year. This year we played one of the easiest schedules in the league. Next year we play one of the hardest. This year we got some good experience under our belt, and the defense proved it's elite, but to win the division next year the whole thing needs to come together, with the D continuing to rank top 5, the offense moving into the top half of the league and the special teams unit maintaining more consistency. Keeping things as is won't be enough. We need meaningful reinforcements and our young guys need to take a big step forward.
  6. Cool. I post a couple of facts you don't like and you get completely bent out of shape and throw a temper tantrum. Hilarious.
  7. LOL When have I ever liked the Pats. What the hell does the rest of your post even mean?
  8. A few things. 1. The Bills played the worst defense that made the playoffs this year 2. The Bills played the 26th hardest strength of schedule this year and were still 23rd in points scored. (next year we play the 5th hardest SoS based off 2019 results).
  9. The Bills are in an incredible position to move forward from. With another good draft, some good free agent acquisitions and some money spent locking up our key guys, we'll be in a great position to contribute at a high level for the next 3-4 years (or more).
  10. I don't blame you. I'd offer White a 5 year, $70 mil extension that kick in after next year with $30 mil guaranteed.
  11. It's unnecessary. Rookie tight ends usually contribute nothing. Knox will take a big step forward next year.
  12. He just finished year 3. Zeke Elliott just held out at the same point of his rookie deal for a new contract.
  13. We should be extending Tre White this summer. He's the best player on the team. Lock him up.
  14. If the Bills go 12-4 with so many wins over quality teams they'd have to be one of the 3-4 teams most likely to win the Super Bowl. They'll need another great draft, a solid group of free agents and need a big step forward from Cody Ford, Dawson Knox and Josh Allen.
  15. Tua is very good. He has an excellent arm, elite accuracy, he throws with anticipation and he throws with touch. He's not very big and he has some injury concerns, but are you sure you were watching the right guy? As a pure passer, he's excellent.
  16. I don't think the Bills will do anything meaningful at RB. Singletary is the bell cow, Yeldon moves into Gores role and they fill out the roster with a low cost vet.
  17. I think Brees is on his way out. When faced with pressure he doesn't have the arm or mobility to succeed anymore. I also don't think very highly of Josh Allen. I think their skill sets are fairly similar.
  18. I think Hill is an upgrade at QB for them over Brees. I don't see any reason he can't do pretty much all of the same things for them that Josh Allen does for us.
  19. The schedule looks very challenging. Seattle, San Fran, KC, Rams, Chargers, Steelers, Titans plus our division games makes it look challenging. Unlike this year when we faced a ton of terrible teams, we don't have very many cupcakes on the schedule. With that said, another 10-6 season seems likely so long as the defense remains top 5 in scoring.
  20. Save the money and don't sign Hooper. Knox will be a top 10 tight end next year. He needs more targets.
  21. Yes. Lock him up this offseason with a 5 year extension.
  22. Your reading comprehension skills are awful.
  23. That's not even remotely close to what I said.
  24. The truth hurts sometimes. I watched with a bunch of non Bills fans and this pretty perfectly echoed their take following the game. The sacks, the fumble, the lateral, the deep balls to Dimarco, the missed interceptions. It was a steady stream of how not to play QB in the NFL.
  25. Gore will be replaced by Yeldon who is fine as a backup running back. A year on the shelf should put some pep in his step for next year as he should be extremely fresh. I don't think they envision Ford as a Guard. They used a second round pick on him and I think they need to give him another year at Right Tackle. Another year working on his technique and more experience will only help him. Spain was this year's Jordan Phillips. We should be able to give him a nice raise and lock up the left side of our line for another season. WR is in desperate need of talent. This team obviously doesn't rate Robert Foster despite his play as a rookie down the stretch, Duke Williams and his 4.7 wheels are never going to consistently gain separation at this level making everything he gets a contested catch. Brown and Beasley are locked into their roles, but they need someone a heck of a lot better than McKenzie running fake WR sweeps all day. Justin Jefferson or Tee Higgins seem like the ideal targets. Both big, athletic guys who can stretch the field and win contested passes. Otherwise on offense everything needs to just keep getting better. Josh needs to get better, Singletary needs 16 games as the bell cow, Knox needs another training camp, the receivers need another summer to work with their QB, and the line should keep gelling. In all seriousness I'd focus most of our resources on defense this summer. Keep that side of the ball elite, and hope the offense naturally progresses from 19 to around 23 points a game, and walk into the playoffs next year as 12-4 division champs.
