The 2021 draft looks to be absolutely loaded with offensive talent. -

Maybe next year. He's a sophomore. -

They're both projected to go mid first round based off the mocks I'd look at. Honestly I'd be happy with either one. Both provide the exact skill set we need to add to our offense. -

Their execution is incredible. Burrow is pin point accurate and his receivers are unbelievably talented. -

Gimme Jefferson. Just my preference. -

Agreed. New England seemed like the most obvious team in transition. Other names we came up with who we expected to be bad next year were Detroit, the Chargers and maybe the Falcons. The Falcons are terrible. I think they'd be wise to hit the reset button and trade Ryan and Jones for picks and go after a top QB next year. -

Agreed, although I think the ones coming out next year are probably better than the ones that will be available this year. Higgins and Jefferson are really good, but Chase and Ross look like two top 10 picks. -

Maybe. I think there will be a ton of big plays that could result in points. Both defenses are pretty good in the red zone, so they might keep it out of the end zone, but I expect to see several more huge splash plays through the air. Both QBs and their receivers are as good as it gets at the college level. -

I was chatting with a friend today, who is going to tank for a QB next year? Between Lawrence and Justin Fields, it'll be a really good year if you're really bad in 2020. -

100%. The feeling out phase is over. I anticipate this resembling an Arena Football game the rest of the way. The amount of play making offensive talent on the field is absurd. -

This is debatable. Burrow, Chase and Jefferson is comparable to Lawrence, Ross and Higgins. -

Clemson are so freaking good. Who cares if they don't play anyone all year. They have better players and better coaches than everyone they face. They seem to never disappoint in big games. -

Isaiah Simmons is really good. He'd be such a weapon in McDermott's defense. -

How? He's almost guaranteed to be the #1 overall pick next year. -

Lawrence is a significantly smarter player in my opinion. -

Hard to blame them with how good their QB and WRs are. -

Clemson are on another level early. So much talent and big game experience on that team. -
The Intentional Grounding Penalty that Wasn't
jrober38 replied to Motorin''s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
100%. It happened all throughout the season. The Bills set up on the cusp of field goal range, Allen not recognizing a blitz, and immediately getting dumped for a sack because he thought he'd have more time to throw than he actually got. Allen's biggest weakness in my eyes is his lack of situational awareness. It, along with the fumbling, needs to get a LOT better next year. I should have clarified. Singletary had him because Smith seemed to mess up. I was more pointing out that Dawkins isn't to blame here, as many were accusing on the first page of the thread. Smith is as useless a player as I've ever seen. Can't run or catch, took numerous penalties and whiffed on a bunch of blocks. We need to make it a priority to get rid of him. -

When did I say Lee wasn't responsible for Mercilus? -
The Intentional Grounding Penalty that Wasn't

This is a very good post. My issue is that this was a problem for the Bills literally all season. There must have been at least 6 times this year that the Bills were somewhere around the 30-35 yard line opposition territory, only to get completely caught off guard by a blitz that resulted in a massive sack or intentional grounding call. In pretty much all of those situations we walked away with no points. Whoever sets the protections struggled with this constantly throughout the season. Dawkins clearly isn't responsible for Mercilus. He never even looks at hims which seems completely insane is that's the guy he's supposed to be blocking. The pass protection is a disastrous call. 3 guys are blocking Watt, Dawkins is blocking no one, and Singletary is responsible for picking up a very good NFL edge rusher who comes untouched. It's a train wreck. The play is blown up by the protection call before the ball is even snapped. -

The pass protection was clearly called incorrectly. Every linemen is looking to their right. There's no way this is by chance. They think the rush is coming from the right, and the complete opposite happens. I don't know who sets the protections (it's either Allen or Morse), but one of them completely screwed it up. -

Dupree, Judon and Conklin seem very unlikely to actually make it to free agency. -
The plan to replace Lorenzo Alexander?

Isaiah Simmons from Clemson seems like the prototypical McDermott linebacker from his time at Carolina. Tall, freakishly athletic, and raw. McDermott probably looks at him and sees what could be his version of Thomas Davis in Buffalo. Unlikely he falls to us, but I imagine he's a player McDermott will really like.
