  1. Zeke Elliott held out after his third season. We should be extending Tre White this offseason IMO.
  2. His style of play has clearly shown he avoids injuries. 961 carries since starting at Louisville, and he's missed one game. This argument that Jackson is going to start getting injured a bunch is nonsensical.
  3. Exactly. Let's look at their career injuries: Josh Allen 2015 - broken collarbone, missed 4 games 2017 - sprained AC joint, missed 2 games 2018 - sprained UCL, missed 4 games 2019 - concussion, missed 0 games Lamar Jackson 2015 - sprained ankle, missed 1 game Lamar Jackson has run the ball 961 times over the past 5 years, and has missed one game due to a mildly sprained ankle.
  4. How many times has he been hurt? How many times has Allen been hurt?
  5. You're probably right. Will be interesting to see what happens. We have a bunch of premium opponents on the schedule next year as well. Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Seattle, New England will all be at home. The Chargers or Jets could also make good prime time games.
  6. Those games weren't on Sunday night. I assume part of the population goes to work if the game is on a Thursday or Monday. Sunday, everyone is drinking from sunrise to sunset.
  7. Brady is done. I'd be surprised if he's with the Pats next year. He's a free agent and I think they'll try to go in another direction with several pretty good starters slated to be available this offseason.
  8. It's not a 50/50 ball when you throw into double or triple coverage. A big receiver would help, but he still needs to be more selective with the opportunities he takes down field. He's been much better at this since the New England game when he was throwing prayers into areas with multiple defenders.
  9. You clearly don't understand what the word "fact" means. You keep confusing facts with your personal opinions. The Bills are 10-4 and have clinched a playoff spot in week 15. The only reason we're not considered Super Bowl contenders because our offense is so poor.
  10. I'm sorry but Josh Allen isn't a good passer of the football. 32nd in completion percentage, 25th in YPA, 23rd in QB Rating, 28th in QBR, 28th in DYAR, 28th in DVAO. The goal posts haven't been moved. All of these things have been repeated throughout this thread.
  11. I don't get the need to tear down our entire team to build one guy up into something he isn't. In this thread alone, our elite defense has been down played, our receivers have been described as some of the worst in the NFL, our tight ends have been described as useless players who can't catch, our line has been down played. Additionally, the soon to be MVP has been described by numerous people as a one trick pony who wouldn't be able to produce 21 ppg in our offense. As a rookie, he led the Ravens to over 29 points per game in his six games as the starter, but some how he wouldn't be able to come close 21 points if he played here. It's all so bizarre.
  12. I don't believe management wants home Sunday Night Football games. I think they're terrified of what will happen in the parking lots before the game. I think a Monday Night game is likely and another one on the road. Baby steps.
  13. Roberts and Boykin are after thoughts. That comment was based around our receivers lacking size.
  14. Another misrepresentation. My argument was that if you want a QB, the math says you should go after the #1 QB in the draft. I haven't check since we picked Allen, but guys who go #1 overall work out around 60-70% of the time. On the flip side, guys picked #2 to #32 overall, work out around 30% of the time. It was an argument based on probability. At the time we needed a QB, and if you're going to try and get one, do whatever you can to make it happen in an attempt to improve your odds to a much higher probability than picking someone later in the first round. I thought Winston was a pretty good prospect. I was wrong. I can live with that, but don't mislead the reasoning behind why I said it would be a good idea to trade up. The whole rational was that if you're going to draft a QB, draft the best QB in that draft class.
  15. You must not be able to read, because he's listed at 6'2 on every website, including ESPN. Keep going with your attempt to stretch the truth, after telling me not to do that. It's hysterical. LMAO
  16. Sure thing. I imagine all of you were EJ Manuel fan boys and your still butt hurt over him being a heaping pile of garbage at QB.
  17. Your point is useless because those guys are afterthoughts in their offense, just like the guys I referenced. A stretch is saying Seth Roberts is 6'4 when he's actually 6'2 when trying to prove some obscure point.
  18. Finally someone who gets it. I could understand if someone thought Jackson wasn't better than someone like Pat Mahomes, Russell Wilson, etc, but literally everyone who has argued with me this morning has said they wouldn't trade Allen straight up for Lamar Jackson. It's mind boggling.
  19. Dawson Knox is 6'4. Duke Williams is 6'3. Robert Foster is 6'2. Whar's your point? The vast majority of their receiver targets go to Snead and Brown, who are 5'11 and 5'8 (John Brown is 5'11 and Beasley is 5'8).
  20. How tall are the Ravens top receivers? Hint: they're the same size as our guys. Poor take. They let Brown walk in March when free agency opened. They draft was roughly two months later. Letting Brown, or any free agent, walk was a business decision. It's not like they just swapped players. A lot had to happen for Marquise Brown to wind up their draft pick.
  21. Why do you think his receivers are wide open? Daboll schemes guys open. Sometimes they drop it. Sometimes Allen misses them by 5 or more yards.
  22. I don't view the Ravens as being significantly more talented than the Bills. Our defense is better than theirs. Our offensive personnel isn't a lot worse. They're better at tight end and have two premiere linemen, but I think we have better receivers.
  23. I disagree. I think Brown is a very good receiver and Beasley is fine in the slot. Brown is way better than anything the Ravens have.
  24. In Jackson's defense, he has some of the weakest outside receivers in the NFL. I'm sure he'd love to throw outside the hashes, but who is he supposed to be throwing those passes to? Marquise Brown is a deep threat and WR screen guy. Willie Snead is a slot guy. Past them they have nothing at WR.
