  1. Interesting take. Allen, Brown, Beasley, Knox and Singletary straight up for Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, Moss and Edwards-Helaire. I think I'd do it.
  2. Game over. Congrats to LSU. Burrow is a beast. One of the nicest deep balls I've ever seen. Every throw more than 20 yards is right on the money.
  3. Higgins and Ross struggling for separation tonight against Man Coverage. They can't just out jump these DBs.
  4. Not enough touches for Etienne and they need to get that tight end involved again. LSU is too good in coverage on the perimeter.
  5. That's the only thing really missing from our offense.
  6. Joe Burrows deep ball is ridiculous. Every ball is dropped right in the bucket.
  7. The fact that those plays are all reviewed is helpful.
  8. Zero tolerance is designed to get these hits out of the game. The NFL should have the same rules.
  9. Chase, Higgins, Jefferson and Ross can all fill that role for us tomorrow. The amount of talent on the field in this game is absurd.
  10. He's unbelievably good. Doesn't have elite size but his skill set is exceptional.
  11. Ross was the guy last year. This year he's been more of their possession receiver. Next year he'll be the go to go with Joe Ngata emerging as the next in line. He'll get the volume at WR and should improve his draft stock as the go to pass catcher. Then in 2022 Joe Ngata will be the next Clemson top 20 pick at WR. It's an incredible football factory for receivers.
  12. I think Ross is generally considered a better prospect than Higgins.
  13. It's been going on all season.
  14. All are who they were in college except maybe Mariota who is a total bust. Trubisky is trending that way but he was never a good college player. Deshaun Watson and Pat Mahomes are okay.
  15. I think it's getting easier to evaluate QBs as the offenses become more and more like the ones in the NFL. Every QB has some risk, but I think Burrow will be pretty good. Arm, accuracy, mobility, feel for the game, smarts. He's a plus in all of those areas.
  16. Agreed. He's the full package.
  17. Relative to the competition they've faced. The SEC is the best conference in college football. Burrow faced very good competition all year, although you're certainly onto something saying he had a competitive advantage over pretty much everyone they played. Usually I hate guys who play on great teams, but that's beginning to change. What does Burrow do well: - Good arm - Elite accuracy to all levels of the field - Throws with touch - Plus mobility His game translates to the NFL. I think you could plug him into most NFL offenses and he'll be relatively successful. Not saying he'll be a Hall of Famer, but he looks like a guy who could throw for 4,000 yards and 25 TD in the NFL so long as he's on a half decent team. (My two cents)
  18. I dunno. Feels a lot like the Chiefs game yesterday. LSU could win by 30.
  19. Exactly. That was probably the best draft class ever for receivers. Not saying this one will be as good, but it looks to be very solid. Really good players are going to be available when our pick comes up. We'll have a shot at several excellent receiving prospects.
  20. So do I. I'm just pointing out I don't think we'll have to trade up. Most big boards have 20 receivers in the top 100 players overall. Receivers will go a little later than expected because there are so many good ones available. I think we'll have plenty of great options available when our pick comes up in round 1.
  21. I don't think he goes top 10. I think teams will prioritize other positions and come back for a receiver in round 2. What do you mean who goes 1 and 2? Overall or receivers? If receivers I think Jeudy and Lamb.
  22. One guy, and I think he was joking. No one has come remotely close to anointing either QB a Hall of Famer.
  23. 20 years ago, sure. More recently it's been a better indicator. College passing schemes are much more like their NFL counter parts than they were in the 90s.
  24. There's a good chance it happens. This is the best WR draft class in 10 years. It's basic supply and demand. Teams will prioritize other positions and go after the receivers later than expected because there are so many great options available.
