  1. None. Lattimore will shut him down. He had had two catches for 8 yards in the Panthers game against NO. I'm not sure if that was the game he left early. Lattimore is playing at an elite level right now, I don't see a guys first game in a run first offense being very productive.
  2. Pound cake. For pounding the Saints. Poor Benjamin is headed to an island his first week in the new uniform. Go full feast mode this week so you can atleast run block.
  3. May 2nd, not March. Sorry it wouldn't let me edit.
  4. McD was on board in January, the Bills didn't decline Sammy's option until the beginning of March.
  5. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000871712/article/niners-want-jimmy-garoppolo-to-be-franchise-qb-not-17-savior I think this link is on point.
  6. Does it matter? Yes it matters. The game was over, the pressure was off, a mistake there doesn't change the outcome of the game. It's an entirely different mindset on the field. 90% of the teams output, that team you mention has Lesean McCoy who is still a good-->great running back. Between TT, the Oline, and the OC they failed to create any favorable matchups. Watch the Rams game today and see how long the Giants are able to key in on Gurley. The Rams (not just Goff) will make them pay for it. That didn't happen on Thursday night for the Bills. The Jets rushed 5 all night and tackled the running back on the way to the quarterback. The Jets never had to change their approach because it worked all night long. That is on the entire offense including Tyrod Taylor. It's not something you look past and say welp his completion percentage was high and yah no turnovers. How about all the three and outs? The 7 points until well into the 4th quarter. A QB's job is to lead the offense not put together stat lines. When a team is unable to move the ball and dictate to the defense there is a problem. A hall of fame running back is boxed in because the OC and QB couldn't adjust to getting steam rolled upfront. No audibles of course, no checking to one on one coverage, no screens. Just kept doing what wasn't working, Tyrod was part of it. When a team is able to consistently take away what you are trying to do then you need to adjust. This isn't the first time we have seen this approach. The Jets were very aggressive with the guy assigned to spy the QB, a few times it was nothing more than a delayed blitz and Taylor froze.
  7. Bama is going down tonight, hope that soothes some wounds!
  8. Getting Clay and Gaines back to practice early next week would be a huge step towards a victory over NO. Lattimore is playing great right now, another receiving threat like Clay will make life easier on Tyrod and Shady. The zone coverage has looked awesome with Gaines on the field and pathetic when he is off it. Is he that good? I don't know. Maybe it's just the communication or that Shareece Wright is CFL level talent but it's been night and day with/without Gaines.
  9. If that comes with Dennison then he needs to go. Even JM audibled out and took advantage of 1 on 1 outside for a touchdown. Is Taylor the guy that can do it and do it well? Who knows, we haven't seen it with any of his OC's. They do need an OC and QB that can execute at that level and trust eachother enough to do so.
  10. He threw that ball deep when he got the free play for the offsides, that was opportunistic and something I hadn't seen him do before. I still can't get over the no audibles or adjustments at the LOS, either all his coaches staffs are incompetent or he is unable to do it. In today's game that puts a team at a big disadvantage.
  11. Yeah I'd prefer that approach but what he said directly related to his ability to do his job. In 4 days time a player with his amount of wear and tear can't recover fast enough to perform at his expected level. He voiced that concern, I don't see much wrong with it. He expects to play well and he was frustrated that he was unable too. I hope the rest of the Oline is as pissed off as RI, they were all bad.
  12. The age and short recovery time could have been part of it? I'm not in the excuse making buisness but that seems legit for an aging Olinemen facing some jacked up young bucks.
  13. Ice Cold Bud Light Here!
  14. "you run like a fish out of water" My old coach used to say that about kids who use their arms like they are swimming while running and all out of balance. I think of my coach everytime I see Zay.
  15. One play it looked like 62 walked back into TT before he even engaged the defender.
  16. That's pretty broad and sloppy. I can't blame a coach for not wanting his highest paid player being a negative influence on younger guys. See Mario Williams. How do you think guys flock towards 100 million dollar men? I'm sure they have all the coolest cars, houses, etc. They have what the young guys want... Folks often ignore the human aspect of all this. The guy got suspended multiple times for substance abuse, got fat, rode a bike, got fat again, constant muscle pulls, missing flights etc. This is the highest paid guy on the team. A soft spoken, detached, slug. Short term it opens up a hole in the roster but long term it makes a ton of sense. They are trying to build a winning program not appease a 350 pound man child with no self discipline. Who said "can't win with em"
  17. Humber and Poyer looked hurt out there.
  18. They obviously didn't want him here collecting checks and influencing guys. Had a chance to move him and took it. In the short term does it hurt the DT depth, obviously.
  19. You can cite the absence of Dareus but doing so without acknowledging that Dareus contract which was terrible, got moved. Who is to say that MD wouldn't further injure his reputation and turn that contract from terrible to unmovable. There was a risk keeping him on the roster, not just dealing with him in the locker room. The decision shows foresight. Something that's been lacking for years around OBD.
  20. Completion percentage! JM came into the game at over 70 percent. That's a recipe for success against this defense, more so because Gaines is out.
  21. Better Oline than the Jets.
  22. Just wait til Sunday, Janoris Jenkins is suspended so Samantha will put up some stats and the same guy will be screaming about that trade too. All the while ignoring Watkins failure to produce against top corners this season. Sammy Watch thread is coming!!!! Lol
