A step back from throwing 15 touchdowns and zero picks in the end zone!? Wow that's going out on a limb. Just take the Carson Wentz thing as an L. You were out infront of the Peterman thing after the draft, he plays like you think he may you can easily redeem yourself. Regurgitating bad Went and Goff takes is just YIKES territory. Kind advice from a guy who LIKED Mike Glennon. Cheers.

What sound do you hate the most?

That stupid noise at New Era after every first down. It sounds like something from Tyson's punch out. Tyrod probably got sick of hearing so he stopped getting first downs. -
New Orleans Scrubs at the end of the game....

Let it go Tyrod. Sometimes life's not fair, right? -
I trashed Peterman's arm long before the combine. I'm very concerned it will be a problem throwing outside the numbers once teams have a little tape on him. With that being said, I'm excited to see what he can do well. Tyrod simply wasn't good enough and it has gotten frustrating watching him week after week. We should all notice an improvement on WCO timing. The ball will come out at the end of his drop. I feel a bit like I'm taking home a heavy hottie at closing time. I know I'm not going to like it, I never did like it, but I'm so excited to see how much I don't like it. That's how I feel about NP.

But taking the velocity numbers from the combine and breaking them down into such detail is useless. ESPN or NFL NET brought Mahomes on live tv and had him throw against David Carr in a velocity test. He won. I think he did once again hit 60 mph but the ball went sailing over his target by about ten yards. It certainly wasn't his normal delivery. I think the velocity test at the combine is pretty sloppy.
-
Tyrod's velocity was 50 at his combine. About 6 percent lower than Peterman's.
-
According to Gabriel a lot of the QBs benefit from having an NFL strength and conditions program vs. a college one where some of these guys aren't on a routine. Logan Thomas threw 60 mph tied with Mahomes for the fastest since they began tracking velocity in 2008. Another noteable was Russ Wilson 55 MPH.
-
Sport science clocked Brady at 61 MPH at age 39. (Live game action)
-
Peterman was 53. Mahomes was 60. Kizer was 56 Watson 49 Greg Gabriel has a good article attached to the numbers. Detailing Brees, Manning and Brady's less than average arm strength while he watched their college tapes and live practices. "Brees arm strength coming out was below average at best" I trashed on Watson and Peterman for their arm strength. I think Watson floated more balls in college...hopefully the later can start out with as much success as the former.

Nathan Peterman to Start this Week.

WC Coordinator Meet WC QB. If you two fellas don't show something before Christmas you will both be on a bus to Cleveland before New Years. Happy Holidays. Bills fans everywhere. -
Now that Nathan Petterman is the starter?
CommonCents replied to fansince88's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anything he does from here on out should not impact the long term plans that (we hope) they have in place. If Peterman plays lights out, perhaps that keeps the Bills from mortgaging their stockpile of picks for a QB. Should still use one of those firsts for a QB with less flaws than NP. -

The FA QB market is going to be fully stocked this offseason, it will be intresting to see what situation he ends up in. -
McCoy sounds very unhappy about the switch
CommonCents replied to ProcessTheTrust's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Free to leave is right. They didn't even entertain bringing him back. We all knew he was the better blocker of the two, just didn't know how much more productive of a WR he could be in a modern day offense. Since what Shady thinks means so much...must have hurt to watch Woods go. -

What did he think about Woods leaving? That seems more relevant. -

Well unless you intended to be critical of the message I'm not sure why you linked it. It's pretty sloppy and if it has a racial undertones ain't nobody got time for that. -

Who is the racist? The fans? Or the guy who is sitting there using Lamar Jackson as a comparison for Tyrod Taylor. Why are they similar? Because they are black and can create plays with their legs? So that means we can ignore their obvious differences, like how much better of a prospect Jackson is? Because yah know it's all about having the white guy play anyways. Right? id say yikes but that won't cover this one. super sloppy. -
Sounds like he just got a one way ticket to the upside down.

Worth noting they brought in the highest big play percentage WR in KB. Clay was back last week as well. Folks always wanted to see Taylor with weapons he had plenty last week and laid an egg. I was never a Peterman fan but I'm excited about the change. The ball will come out on time. He will make mistakes so this board is going to be as divided as ever. Every touchdown is going to be amazing and the picks are going to I TOLD YOU SO. can't wait! -

NFL. com already says the Chargers are impressed with Rivers progress and they expect him to play.
