I'm not sure if you guys are trying to have a serious conversation but there is a major difference between a coach benching Taylor after his 56 yard meltdown then there is when the owner/GM pull the plug on a lost season. The same goes for all the nut jobs ranting about Manning being benched. It isn't McAdoo making that call, it's the ownership/GM agreeing that they need to look towards the future. People get appalled about tank talk, so bench the best QB and tank silently. Yikes, y'all hitting that captains and egg nog a few weeks early. Frisky fellas.

If you want to eat a W I'd be looking for a third option. Possibly Josh McCown? -

Peterman is a gun slinger with a .22 I'm all for moving on from Taylor as soon as possible but Peterman isn't worth much as a potential replacement. As a fan I would enjoy watching him play instead of the TT show but that won't happen for a few more fails. -
Hypothetically if Giants release Manning

Bills need to think long term and stop with the short term fixes. Eli needs a good offensive line and he can try and catch fire for another season or two. -
Things went sideways for him as a HC and in an attempt to salvage his job he needed to let loose of the playbook and attempt being an actual HC. He was promoted quickly because the success he had as an OC, he was so good at it that it got him a position he wasn't ready for. I have few doubts that he is better off as an OC and focused solely on that. It will be intresting to see where he lands. This move had to have been made by the GM/ownership. It's a look towards the future and it leaves the SB hero and HC out of the picture. I'm not sure why this move would reflect poorly on McAdoo, he is a dead man walking and a guy in his position isn't making this kind of decision.

McAdoo would be a huge upgrade over Dennison and he is a guy I'd want around a young QB. A step down from McVay but a guy who understands how to run a modern day passing attack. They offered Eli the opportunity to extend his streak by starting the games before putting Smith//Webb out there. Eli is a proffesional he declined.

Eric Lee who was signed off the Bills practice squad played 25 snaps for NE Sunday and had 4 impact plays per Berdard. Someone to watch on Sunday. I have no idea who he is. -

He said... "Great players don't need to campaign for themselves, your actions speak louder than your words" Perhaps that applies here as well. -

He don't play for the fans. Few weeks later he asks fans to vote him into the Pro Bowl for a resume/pay bump. Guess he never made it to OZ for that brain. -

This is what irks me about Taylor, he seems totally oblivious towards his own faults. Maybe that is why he hasn't taken the next step. -

What's with the boots? I missed that point? To hide an ankle braclet? Then why would the braclet and boot switch legs? What about the booms? I find that more intresting but I have no idea what you are insinuating. -

Coach Commonsense says... "we are going to lure these guys into a dogfight" "we are going to win in the trenches" "protect the ball" "don't beat ourselves" insert 50 other cliches, then when your down 3 touchdowns at the half reference prior comebacks and put it in Gods hands because before you know it you will be down 30. In all seriousness it would be hard to design a game plan on defense with this scheme and personnel. Let's see if McD and Frazier can work a small miracle.
