  1. Chargers have a bad run defense. Look for 3 step drops, lots of runs and then play action to take advantage of an aggressive defense. It's not rocket science, they aren't going to continually drop the kid back and let him get rocked.
  2. They are 5-4 and the rookie got nearly 3 months more time in the playbook and on the practice field. Why wouldn't they give Taylor a shot to conform into their system? They came in and did their own evaluations. Would you rather they have trusted what they saw from players under Rex's watch?
  3. What if they were looking beyond 17' and didn't want to cater to any players for short term gains in exchange for long term evaluations? From the roster shuffle and the way the season has played out I believe this very much too be the case.
  4. Chargers have a good pass rush and some strong pieces in the secondary. They will also win TOP by a fair margain. 240 1td 2 picks
  5. How long until Tyrod says something boneheaded?
  6. Early returns on this weeks bet!? Oh yah couldn't win anything anyways! Nice bet!!!
  7. Didn't even have a QB controversy play out in the media, the team kept it behind closed doors and made the change. Much different then some of the blow hards we have endured.
  8. I love it. Tough matchup with the SD secondary but I'm now excited for the game. I wasn't looking forward to seeing Ingram and Bosa chasing around a headless chicken!
  9. How much of a difference do you suppose it is between those two players when a coach/gm assign a value to a guy they are looking to lead their offense? IMO it's night and day presnap with Taylor and Smith. At this point in Tyrod's career I think it's a safe bet to say that it isn't changing. That same point goes back to when Denver won the SB with a wounded Manning. He could still get them in and out of play calls, even if he couldn't throw. That brings his overall ability a lot closer to what a perfectly healthy Taylor could offer.
  10. Alex Smith operates one of the more complex offenses in the league. Tyrod is a simpleton who has never called an audible or adjusted protections under any OC/HC. He is nothing like Alex Smith. The market for a QB that operates with blinders on is most likely minimal. I dont see the comparison.
  11. I pictured a fan yelling that into the players locker room.
  12. I was expecting a clapping GIF
  13. If anything I thought McD waited longer than he could have just to avoid a QB controversy.
  14. Good pickup. Even after the fumble this past week Lynn spoke highly of him and the impact he had on the game. Some rumors that Ekeler is pushing it towards a time share and Gordon is banged up. He is prime for a take over IMO.
  15. Ekeler is a name a bunch of us are going to get familiar with on Sunday.
  16. I don't like star players returning kicks unless it's a playoff game and you are desperate. Bills return guys are boring but they typically catch the ball, that's all I want.
  17. I think they mismanaged the RB position on purpose to see if all Bills fans could agree on one thing. It's the only explanation I can come up with. When Jwil was cut everyone replied it's because Barnyard is going to get the carries, welp the season is more than halfway over and they are still committed to Tubby as the back up HB. Half back, not full back, not back and a half, they are legit using Tolbert as a third down back.
  18. The season is not over. The AFC as a whole sucks this year. Even if the Bills lose on Sunday they will still have chance to pull their heads out of the sand. If they don't make it in after the 5-2 start in such a weak conference it's even more embarrassing.
  19. The 2017 AFC is like playing in the east in the NBA. As bad as you suck a playoff spot is sitting there waiting...
  20. Landry is a tank, nice hit though. Good share Yolo, I like seeing players taking care of buisness on the field like that.
  21. Fair. He is the better player out of the three but comes with the glaring injury issues. When you hold him up to Teddy who is coming off of a horrific injury himself and Keenum who looks to be a flash in the pan that could be a sound decision. The team is well built, it will be interesting to see what they do at QB going forward. A game manager could very well mean 2-4 years of competing for SBs with this surrounding cast.
  22. I wouldn't feel comfortable paying either of those guys big money. Copy the 9ers mold and write up an aggressive contract like the one they had Kap sign. My guess is by 2020 whichever team signs these guys is wishing they could get away from the contract. So plan accordingly.
  23. The Bills started this season hot by creating turnovers. They have since dried up. I'm calling for McBeane to go out and get s turnover chain to save the season, it starts Sunday in LA.
  24. They have a tough next month with Rams, Lions, Falcons and Panthers. I'd hope Zimmer is focused on doing what's best to get home field throughout, they have the talent to do so. The Vikes are a likeable team I hope he don't screw up the chemistry for my own selfish reasons. I do agree that heading into next year it's a tough decision on Keenum, TB. If Keenum keeps winning that decision is made for him.
