Doug Whaley and his staff didn't value what's in between the ears of draft prospects. The new guys do. Thus they are flushing out all of Whaley's guys and that explains the lack of high first round players on the Bills. The new staff has higher expectations and the roster is in flux. The team has overachieved until last night, McBeane will make or break their Buffalo futures on draft night.

Lynch is averaging 3.7 YPC, his highest rushing total was 76 yards in week one. He is toast.

Who mentioned Watkins first in this thread!? I have a few guesses! Rams play the Giants this week and Janoris Jenkins is suspended, bump that Sammy Watch thread and claim victory!!! Benjamin is a much better player. Better blocker for a running offense and a red zone target for a QB who leaned on a less talented Justin Hunter successfully last year in the same role. Push on McBeane they will see the light soon.

They can find a mid-late round speedster and put him KB, Jmatt, if the contracts allow it. I'm not sure what type of money Jmatt will get but it shouldn't be too painful.

IMO Evans is smoother than KB but KB is more physical. Just how I see it. KB was fat at one point. Then got back in shape. In between all that his mother passed away this summer. Has looked highly motivated from games I watched this season.

The process will be intresting, McBeane obviously like the player but will they wait to negotiate a long term deal as part of the process. My guess is they let him earn his stripes in Buffalo and work one out in the offseason.
