LMFAO - "I couldn't understand the Loudness dude, But man that guy could scream" I'll probably get torched for this, but a joke back in the day with Loudness was 'Everybody crap your hands!' I actually saw them.

Love the perspective of the song from the drum kit. We have a local in-the-round venue where the stage rotates. TBH it can be annoying when they use it but I saw a band with a drummer I liked a number of years ago and it was cool as hell when he had his back to us.

My two cents on the 90's is that the Nirvana debut album was a welcome jolt to the late 80's hair bands - Nirvana put that era to bed. The album was great, but nothing I hadn't heard before. It spawned the grunge/flannel backlash with great bands like Soundgarden, but again nothing I hadn't heard before. The bands that stuck out for me in the 90's combined different genres in a cool way, loved Rage and ska-punk. Would have loved to see where Sublime took things.

LOL - they're coming to a theater near me and was thinking of taking my youngest. Wifey took one look at the date and informed me it was Super Bowl Sunday. In spite of the fact the Bills lost, that makes it a non-starter for me. @Buffalo716 I had the pleasure of seeing Meadowlark, Curly, et. al way back. Good times!

Bills Fire Safeties Coach Jim Salgado

How so? Cuz I didn't spend all day here. For the record, I punched in Salgado in the search box after seeing your response and this thread was the sole result. -
How on earth could you predict that today? We have no idea who will be under center for the Dolphins or Jets - who knows, maybe the Pats too. This is a question to be asked after the draft and free agency. As it stands, do I expect to go into next season as the prohibitive favorite to win the div like we did this year? Nope.

Nickelback always got a lot of online derision but they had a couple of great songs - this being one of them.

No disagreement - if my post implied the others shouldn't have been unanimous it was unintended. -

Not the greatest player, the most consistently dominant. He rarely had an off day - even late in his career. -

No doubt on Rivera, there's always one jack@ss. Rivera is the most dominant baseball player I've ever seen. -

Have to admit Gamble's hair was fabulous! Always wondered how the baseball cap stayed on his head. And yeah I get the importance of stats, I don't dismiss them. I think my point is that if I subjectively think a guy is Hall worthy the stats are usually there to back it up. Yadier may be an exception. There was another guy who to me was a no-brainer - I think it was Bruce Sutter - and someone shredded his Hall worthiness based on stats. That sums it up for me pretty well for me. I will say that when it became a hitters game and everyone started hitting tons of HR's it became harder for me to distinguish the very good from the great. Personally I would not have voted for Bagwell. -

No doubt Rolen was a great player. I tend to be a bit harsh when it comes to the HOF and as I mentioned I don't look closely at the stats. If I need stats to justify a player then they probably aren't worthy of the Hall in my book. I also don't like the argument that since so-and-so got in then this guy should too. From what I understand (he was before my time) Maseroski is the poster child for that argument - a guy that probably isn't Hall worthy. Let's not lower the standards based on past mistakes. As for Arenado, he needs more time but to me he's on the path to the HOF. What's your thoughts on Yadier Molina? I think he's a no brainer but a few years ago someone on this board laughed at me when I mentioned that. Curious what others think. -

When it comes to the HOF I don't get hung up on stats, I just go by the eye test. Rolen doesn't pass it for me. Jones probably does. Possibly the best defensive CF of his time - I can't remember seeing anyone that played as shallow as he did. As I recall he got better at the plate over the years, but his hitting alone would never get him into the HOF -
I don't disagree with any of this and I come here daily to see what tough decisions folks think should be made - some I agree with, some I don't and some go into my I'm not sure category. But I'll stand by how I described the 'they aren't allowed to' comment. It adds no substance IMO.
