  1. Fair enough wrt the Bengals post-game comments. I was aware of the refunds quote - no big deal to me, but nothing Taylor said. But I was referring to Taylors press conference a day or two after the Monday game, how the Bengals captains came to the Bills locker room that night and I'm pretty sure Burrow shrugged off that they they had to play in Buffalo leading up to the playoff game.
  2. The amazing thing to me is that anyone GAF one way or the other.
  3. This was one of those games that I had no idea who I'd root for/against until I watched it. One bad Apple tipped the scales for me. A bit surprising cuz I was completely impressed by how Zac Taylor, Burrow and most other Bengals handled the Damar incident. This may be an odd analogy but years ago I heard someone say that a chorus is only as good as it's worst vocalist. That's how I view the Bengals.
  4. Serious question: what low talent defense of Spagnulo's showed up in a big game?
  5. They lit up the Empire State Building in green and white after the Eagles win. That's a giant middle finger to Giants fans. https://dknation.draftkings.com/2023/1/29/23577057/empire-state-building-eagles-colors-nfc-championship-win-giants-jets-bills-fans
  6. Do you think gutty reporting would make a difference? Living in Jets land I see/hear a lot of scathing hot takes by the press on the regular. Hasn't helped yet (not that I'm complaining).
  7. So now I’m watching as my house is raided Like I’m some sort of terrorist I thought that they were democratic, not an iron fist
  8. You know I'm loaded Railroaded I'm explosive I'm a locomotive
  9. A sure sign that I like a song is when I turn up the volume. That happened here. Late night chill:
  10. Sounds like a variation of "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" Both are outstanding words to live (and post) by.
  11. More often than not I appreciate both sides of an argument (i.e . - I'm a wishy-washy prick). WRT your point I have no doubt that I am not part of the 'Some of us shoulda filled in' crowd.
  12. Is this something you know of and can expound on or just speculation based on the result?
  13. It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.
  14. Girl, I want to be with you all of the time All day and all of the night
  15. LMFAO - "I couldn't understand the Loudness dude, But man that guy could scream" I'll probably get torched for this, but a joke back in the day with Loudness was 'Everybody crap your hands!' I actually saw them.
  16. Love the perspective of the song from the drum kit. We have a local in-the-round venue where the stage rotates. TBH it can be annoying when they use it but I saw a band with a drummer I liked a number of years ago and it was cool as hell when he had his back to us.
  17. This tattoo that I outgrew, I never thought it through before like you I wish somehow I knew to listen to my missing voice of reason What would it take? don't make me beg I'm falling on my knees Could you stick around to tighten loose ends for me It's not too difficult to tighten loose ends
  18. The wheels on the bus go round and round Round and round, round and round
  19. Can't stop, stop that girl, there she goes again I really, really love to watch her, watch her headbangin' Suzy is a headbanger, her mother is a geek Do it one more time for me, ooh-ooh-wee
  20. EDIT: shout out to @Johnny Hammersticks for calling out Tool, forgot about them - happy to hear about others I forgot.
  21. My two cents on the 90's is that the Nirvana debut album was a welcome jolt to the late 80's hair bands - Nirvana put that era to bed. The album was great, but nothing I hadn't heard before. It spawned the grunge/flannel backlash with great bands like Soundgarden, but again nothing I hadn't heard before. The bands that stuck out for me in the 90's combined different genres in a cool way, loved Rage and ska-punk. Would have loved to see where Sublime took things.
  22. LOL - they're coming to a theater near me and was thinking of taking my youngest. Wifey took one look at the date and informed me it was Super Bowl Sunday. In spite of the fact the Bills lost, that makes it a non-starter for me. @Buffalo716 I had the pleasure of seeing Meadowlark, Curly, et. al way back. Good times!
  23. I know that living with you baby was sometimes hard But I'm willing to give it another try Nothing compares Nothing compares to you
  24. How so? Cuz I didn't spend all day here. For the record, I punched in Salgado in the search box after seeing your response and this thread was the sole result.
  25. How on earth could you predict that today? We have no idea who will be under center for the Dolphins or Jets - who knows, maybe the Pats too. This is a question to be asked after the draft and free agency. As it stands, do I expect to go into next season as the prohibitive favorite to win the div like we did this year? Nope.
