At the time I laughed it off, but afterward I wondered what if I was wearing a Pats jersey? WTF.

It's been awhile since the last one, but I've been to a number of Jets/Bills games in New Jersey and never had a problem. Granted I was always with a Jets fan which tempered everything. One time at MetLife I had an old time Jet fan (stranger) to my left. Bills were lining up for a punt and old-timer was losing his mind. Bills punted and as old timer predicted the punt returner was out of position, sprinted up to catch the punt but fumbled. Respect for old timer. Fast forward. Last ditch effort Bills pass falls incomplete. Jets fans going wild. I yell: wait flag! (there was none)! Old timer buys in for a second and when I smile and shake it off he gives me a punch to the arm. We both have a laugh, good times. Why folks treat these games like life and death is beyond me. I was at a Bills/Pats game late 90's at Orchard Park. Had a jacket on over my jersey After I finished up at the trough and turned around the next man up (big dude) pulled my jacket aside to see if it was a Pats jersey. Once he saw the #78 he gave me the nod. I always thought that was incredibly dickish. Didn't make me think he represented all Bills fans.

Merry Christmas music lovers! Here's a HS marching band playing Xmas songs indoors. Back story is marching band season went long cuz the football team made a deep playoff run and then they had to learn Xmas songs for their cross-country trip to Disneyland two weeks ago. Normally after marching season they split into three bands and have time to prepare for the winter concert, this was the compromise. Each of the three bands also played one other song including the honors bands traditional finale with alumni:

I would never go anywhere near "extremely risky" but a botched snap was a risk that the Bills thought was better then defending 6 points (can't assume an XP if you don't assume the FG) with 31 seconds left. In the moment I was in favor of taking the sure points, but I understand why they chose the FG attempt.

I don't get the impression that Cohen would dump salary after a WS win. I think high-priced, long-term deals is just something we'll have to get used to. I'm more than willing to try

I will on occasion abandon my cart to get something I forgot from an aisle on the other side of the store - but I do move it to the side. I'll do this in a small, crowded store when I don't want to be the fish going upstream. On at least one occasion someone took my cart by mistake, lol.

If we are expanding beyond shopping cart related issues to include general grocery shopping, how about the deli counter line? Are we using numbers, are we not using numbers? I could care less either way, I just want consistency. But if numbers are in play, don't not take a number and walk away to do other shopping because there's no line, come back and then tell me you were there first when I'm holding the next number. One time that happened to me and it was thisclose to escalating stupidly.

If he can write that and still show his face in the Jets locker room it says more about what the locker room thinks about Wilson than what Cimini thinks about Wilson's play. Reminds me of when a backup LB broke Geno Smith's jaw and nobody stood up for Geno. EDIT: if this was from Francesa it makes far more sense to me - and makes my Geno comparison irrelevant.

What I liked best about the broadcast is I don't think they went to commercial at the 2 minute warning. - either that or they came back early.

Posted this upthread. Chargers equipment manager got hit in the head. Knocked him over and he ended up unconscious. Video of him falling to the ground is about a minute in.

The Squirrel Winter shirt is now 3-0. Also, before the game we started putting ornaments on the tree. Told my son that since the Bills were playing we had to put a Bills ornament on first. Had a hard time finding it and was about to give up when my son informed me it would be my fault if they lost. Persevered, found it, put it on the tree first - Bills win!

I don't suppose either of you are aware of the time the Chargers equipment manager got hit in the back of the head by a snowball at a Giants game - took a fall and lost consciousness.

My personal opinion is the Jets will end up being worse off long term if Zach has a good game and they stick with him longer. But living where I do, I'd love to see Zach implode early on Sunday, Flacco come in and be Flacco - and then revel in local sports radio on Monday.
