  1. My red is so confident he flashes Trophies of war and ribbons of euphoria Orange is young, full of daring But very unsteady for the first go around My yellow in this case is not so mellow In fact, I'm trying to say it's frightened like me And all these emotions of mine Keeps holding me from Giving my life to a rainbow like you
  2. I'll never be a rock and roll star I'll never be anything, anything at all Drive me crazy, can't get away Somebody tell me, when do we get paid?
  3. Parched land no desert sand, sun is just a dot And a little bit of water goes a long way, 'cause it's hot Three good buddies were laughin' and smoking In the back of a rented Ford They couldn't know they weren't going far
  4. Ramones Attack!
  5. Condolences to you, your loved ones and others who were impacted.
  6. I can't see a thing in the video I can't hear a sound on the radio In stereo in the static age
  7. Awesome! Our remote Go Bills! was at Takakkaw Falls, British Columbia.
  8. Some men say he could fly Some men say he could swim Others say he could sing (like neil sedaka) And all the girls in flushing Would be amazed of him
  9. I've been losing lots of keys lately I don't know what that means But maybe I'd be better off with things that can't be locked at all
  10. Can't you hear me say, can't you hear me say Can't you hear me say... Free me!
  11. I try hard now To do the right thing Yet i wonder Why i still do what's wrong That's the way that it goes When you're down here with the rest of us
  12. Jimmy G has been to a Super Bowl. Personally I don't buy into the injury-prone narrative for any player. I think he is the perfect fit for the Jets next year - but I wouldn't commit to him long term. Of course that might not be possible. Completely agree wrt Carr - he's been that guy that's just good enough to keep around. But he would also be a major upgrade for the Jets and could possibly be their Brad Johnson. Personally I'd steer clear. No way in hell Brady ever plays for the Jets. Even though it might be cool for John Edward Thomas Moynihan.
  13. I had a traditional Christian up bringing. Always appreciated the values, but never bought in to the dogma. Had my own 'spiritual awakening' many years ago related to my fathers last days. Josh's statements about Damar resonated for me.
  14. I'll be surprised if the Jets don't bring in a vet like Carr or Jimmy G. Dolphins may move on from Tua due to concussions - or Brady. Jimmy crack corn (we got Josh) and I don't care.
  15. I appreciate that McVay is sticking around even though it's likely that lean times are ahead. Rams mortgaged the next few years for the Super Bowl win. It'd be easy to walk away for a TV gig and wait for the next golden opportunity to come along. Props.
  16. Lie lie lie lie lie lie liar Lie lie lie lie you liar lie lie lie I think you're funny, you're funny ha ha I don't need it, don't need your blah blah Should've realized I don't know what you are
  17. I'm with you on Bor-@ss - can't stand him - overall he's good for the players but bad for baseball. Although the owners who can't help but overpay are complicit as well. One thing I'll say about Cohen/Boras is that as best as I could tell Boras kept his mouth shut ever since the Mets questioned Correa's meds - which didn't happen with the Giants. I'm guessing that's cuz Boras knows better than to try to control the narrative with Cohen like he did with the Coupons.
  18. Damn - my bad, didn't catch that! Well like Dean Wormer once told me: fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son.
  19. Well if you haven't seen Animal House - and you like funny movies - it might be worth your while to check it out. Knowledge is good.
  20. LOL, I used the same line from Animal House a number of years ago and got similar reactions.
  21. I think he still has to clear the medical hurdle, but maybe the Twins already had that info already and are comfortable with the shorter deal. If so, I'd love to know why the Mets (or Giants) wouldn't have done the same. On one hand this is disappointing, but between concern about the meds and the fact that I am comfortable with the Escobar/Baty fallback option I'm content to shrug my shoulders and move on. EDIT: here's an article from Heyman with some more detail. I'm pretty sure that Heyman is Boras' unofficlal mouth piece: https://nypost.com/2023/01/10/why-carlos-correa-ended-up-with-twins-instead-of-mets/
  22. Momma's gonna worry I've been a bad, bad boy No use saying sorry It's something that I enjoy If you could be inside my head You'd see that black and white is red Flying high again
  23. I live in a community that lost a high schooler to a lacrosse incident years ago. The parents dedicated themselves to AED awareness, training and availability - the result was the local little league had enough AED's to go around and the coach of the home team had to check out an AED for every game which sat in the dugout. A point of emphasis during the training was how important the proximity of the AED was. As a practical matter having one is better than none, but it would be great to see some portion of the 8 mill spent on equipping some communities with AED's and funding training. Probably easier said then done though.
  24. I have no idea what the school rules are, but the general use is a concern. If there's only one then you can't put it on the soccer field if there's also a lacrosse game going on - and even if there's one event you wouldn't want to take it from it's known location in case it's needed in the building. No doubt - that's why you're 'not sure if they are portable' comment threw me.
  25. I can't speak to the law, but as a practical matter expecting someone to locate and retrieve an AED in time during an emergency sounds specious. Probably OK in a reasonably sized office setting.
