  1. "In a 3 year period, how did we end up with so many holes on this team." In addition to many of the points brought up by others--this is what happens when you bring in FA on 1 or 2 year "prove it" contracts. They come in, prove it, then move on to the highest bidder.
  2. Reading the tea leaves: I think Frazier is staying. They fired the Safeties Coach today ... usually the coordinator is let go before the position coaches.
  3. Funny. We're at 8 pages of who we should hire... like we're playing DC Madden. I see little realization being paid to someone who may actually want to move Buffalo and serve here professionally.
  4. After last night's win, the Sabres are only 3 points away from a playoff spot.
  5. As I stated before for another poster regarding ensconced: Don't be so arrogant as to think a Bflo OC job is all that.
  6. Yeah. He's got money in the bank and his kids may be in a school they like and extra-curricular activities that make them happy. He might like his house. His wife might like Indy. Point is: for those who have some bank, which should be Reich, there's more to life than professional decisions.
  7. I love Bills Mafia suggestion that no less than Frank Reich should be hired as OC. The sentimentality is cute. Did Reich proponents ever consider for one second that he doesn't want to be OC, or he doesn't want to live in Buffalo? He is after all, comfortably ensconced in Indy. Armchair owners kill me. They think they're playing Madden in owner mode.
  8. I think the Damar pre-game visit to the locker room had the opposite than desired effect. It sobered them up and chilled out their athletic drive.
  9. For all the people bemoaning Josh Allen's contract: developments this next off-season are going to make his contract look like a bargain. Baltimore's outrageous resigning of LB Roquan Smith to a gargantuan contract is just a hint of the craziness this off-season will bring.
  10. The thread pattern, here and countless other places. Fan A: stands up for a player, or coach, or team Fan B: places blame and vitriol Sniping ensues. Love this place after a loss. Any loss.
  11. Poll. Just Give me a thumbs up if... You did an eyeroll everytime Josh went with the long ball today when a checkdown receiver was wide open. We were watching on Spectrum DVR and found an egregious example of this where Cole Beasley was running around frantically wide-open on the 1st down line--and of course Josh unsuccessfully threw the bomb to the end zone.
  12. Bills fans = fantastically loyal and have a huge blind spot regarding their previous stars. Remember how well the second hiring of Marv Levy went?
  13. Yes. More posts (in the right places) = good Starting threads when similar ones exist is frowned upon. There are plenty of threads to bash McD and Beane right now.
  14. Way to go with your 6th post. Please note: the Post Game thread would have been the more appropriate place to vent this pablum.
  15. I can empathize with why you feel that way, and I guess unwarranted sky high preseason expectations only amplify your pain. For me, it's different. The pain tonight is not much different from the pain I felt when the Bills ended the season 8-8 and just missed the playoffs by one more victory (story of the drought). Dashed dreams when you were so close just suck. I suspect the pain felt by Jacksonville and Giants fans is about the same we're experiencing. I imagine Jets and Pats are in just as much pain for just missing the playoffs by an iota. And I know Dolphins fans are mourning their loss to the Bills. Losing is like "wind chill forecasts" ..it doesn't matter the magnitude, it just sucks no matter which way you experience it. My thesis anyway.
  16. Bitter. It doesn't matter how you end the season. If you don't end the season hoisting the Lombardi trophy, it's bitter no matter which way you end it. PS: I hope you didn't think the Bills were a Superbowl contender the way they played ending the season.
  17. It's time for the annual end-of-season fan over reaction and suicide watch. Just a quick review of the forum subject lines shows the season finale drama is in full gear. If it makes you feel better: the season ends this way for 31 teams every year.
  18. ANTIFA aligned groups have the city of Atlanta under siege, mostly trying to stop construction of a police training center (isn't better police training what these type wanted?). Face the Nation is currently on and all they can refer to the agitators is "organized groups" ..they can't dare name who it is. It destroys the narrative.
  19. The fan fascination with what the other fanbase is saying escapes me. These threads come up for every game. I have enough fortitude to not give two sh--- about what others say about us. Be a person who doesn't care. People that don't care: They focus on their own stuff They don’t take things personally They don’t analyze conversations to death They shake it off They tune out
  20. There. There in one quote you excelled 90% of Bills fans in their football acumen. The common fan fantasizes about salary cap limits. The common fan fantasizes about the value added by free agent signings. Looking at the long run, we're not playing Madden here. The draft is where its at. (I will add Stephon Diggs and Von Millers contracts to the scrum)
  21. Surprised this thread made it to 4+ pages without being moved to Off the Wall or PPP.
  22. Agree. Given his comms skills, you gotta wonder how his HC interview went. Probably bizarro land. The owner, Stephen Ross, must be very patient and open minded.
  23. 31 points scored by a third string QB and second string RB.
