  1. Can't see Bill losing enough to get the number one. With the way he schemes and how weird this year will probably play out personnel wise I'd be shocked if he doesn't get 6 wins.
  2. Roster 6 but our new staff that did a complete rebuild as rooks is 9 OVER THE NEXT 3 YEARS. If this is the state of media we should just cancel news and switch to twitter.
  3. The NFL should definitely do the right thing and offer $1200/month ubi to players who want to sit out the season.
  4. Seems inevitable. Think he's better than Cousins though. Cowboys burned all their leverage, now its market price, which is a likely death sentence for any championship dreams.
  5. If you are correct and there are no public gatherings for . . . years. Can you really imagine a situation where our gov/fed allows deflation. If this were to play out KC would get an even better deal.
  6. I think it's kinda great that they had to pay brown 5 mil.
  7. nothing says under valued like half a billy.
  8. This is super smart imo. Mahomes gets money NOW. KC saves cap latter. When it comes to investing large sums time is the biggest factor for success. I'm not sure how they are allowed to structure the bonuses but what is the expected value of Mahomes bonus for the final year of his contract? Lets say the bonus is 10 mil for that final contract year, the expected value has to be at least 15 mil, and maybe 20 mil. It's so rare to have a player you can offer this sort of deal to.
  9. The Lobbyists has a nice ring to it.
  10. politics these days are just people yelling at each other. from what i can gather no one believes or means what they say.
  11. Ladies and Gentlemen I am pleased to announce we have a top 10 QB.
  12. Trading your improving project QB is basically an announcement he sucks. There's no incentive to give up something good. I mean I guess some team could become obsessed and offer something stupid.
  13. I'd be cool with just the divisional games if two teams from each division made the playoffs. Superbowl winner would probably be 9-1 or 10-0. Seems like a legitimate run. With the tie breakers coming off points it would make for some really interesting games as you run up the score on your division rivals.
  14. When I see the phins or pats I experience very low level contempt, not quite hate. When I see the jets I feel low level excitement as I wait for them to ***** the bed again.
  15. Kiko for Shady with Shady immediately wanting a massive new contract is nothing to write home about. Half of Beans trades are as good.
  16. I kind of thing we will be trading some unexpected names, for some unexpected prizes.
  17. I should have never read this thread. I don't know how I am saying it, but I miss the days of getting on this board to oscillate between unearned hope and laughing at our soon to be former management team. I mean sure, sometimes some of us were #######s, but at least we all knew who to blame. Russ. Just in case you weren't sure.
  18. I don't want to actually remove him and make a story. But if the Bills ever get a new stadium, it would be OK if they maybe forgot to make room for him at the new place. Like a box of old clothes in the attic that you know won't fit you.
  19. Watched all of Watson's Clemson and Houston games. I wouldn't bet against him. Also, people keep saying Bill O'Brian is a good coach, but . . .
  20. Dak's trade value is precisely zero.
  21. Nobody dances like Tre. Can you infer that someone is a good person when they dance like that? I'm not sure, but I'm leaning towards yes.
  22. No Hughes? Outrageous!
  23. It's the unwritten law of American Media. If you say something nice about the Bills you HAVE to rank the Pats immediately above them. Think it has something to do with the deflategate settlement.
  24. I would say those are two examples of doing it right. I should have been more clear, I meant that if you sign some silly record setting deal for 40/ and over a 100+ guaranteed, it gets pretty tough to walk back. I have no problem with paying a QB what they're worth, but if you overpay because you just can't let your "franchise" guy go things can get dicey fast and you have zero flexibility. QBs aren't too expensive. They're just too expensive to make bad deals with. You can overpay a guy like Spain no big deal.
