  1. Come on. Anybody here knows that there is a large number of posters who repeatedly bring this “issue“ up. The OP is correct. It is not just the press. personally, I find these posts tiresome and whiny. So many living in a nonexistent past. You would think that we were the only team that passed on him. on the other hand, if it’s any posters right and privilege to continue to talk about this. I would propose an ongoing thread for those posters who just can’t let go of this. But no such posts in any other threads. Just my opinion
  2. Nope. Not dominating or consistent enough to be even in that category. But you’re entitled to your opinion
  3. Brown might be, and I really mean might be, at best, a good number two receiver. In no way is he a number one receiver despite the night season he had. He disappears and games too often and he is not capable of putting the team on his back like a true number one should be able to do. 4. KC will have the lead by half time. Wow!
  5. Is it me, or does Fouts seem Ok tonight? Maybe he is in playoff form
  6. This has been one hell of a second act for Tannehill.
  7. Yes, he is worth top money regardless of the scheme. You can’t just plug-in anybody in a zone defense and assume they will play at a high-level. Pretty much a non-issue in this case.
  8. Yes you can. It’s done all the time. Every time you see an official picking up a flag that he threw after consultation with the other officials is an example of this. It’s painful. But it was the right call.
  9. I haven’t read too many posts on this thread because of so many pages. But this is, by far, the sanest and most rational post that I have read. Really, going from six and 10 to 10 and six! How often does that happen in this league? And, in particular,I agree with your comments about the offense. Josh has had one real weapon or year in Singleterry. He made John Brown a good receiver this year but he disappears too often and games particularly at big moments. He needs a receiver like Hopkins. I do believe the offense will be better next year because he Josh will have more weapons and he will continue to develop. Along with his awesome physical skills the most impressive thing about Josh is his intelligence and his work ethic. So I choose to be optimistic. to put this in some perspective, compare my take on this disappointing loss to what’s going on in another thread. I won’t name names or give details. But in the other thread the OP actually suggested the Buffalo Bills fans that they should not go and greet the team at the airport when they arrive because of the loss yesterday. Pathetic! And to me as a fan, insulting. yes, we could have/should have won the game. But we lost in overtime to an evenly matched opponent at their field. Their quarterback made one terrific play that won the game for them. The loss was not embarrassing in the least to me.
  10. then we disagree. The loss was not atrocious. It was a tough loss that went into overtime against a good team at their place. Don’t get me wrong, I’m bummed and disappointed. But not only am I a results guy because we did go 10 and six after going six and 10 last year. That is an amazing improvement. I am also a context guy. Overall, this season was very successful for this team and they are trending up. So I put the loss in context. It’s realistic because I think this team is only going to get better but tickly when they get Josh Allen a real number one receiver and he continues to develop which I absolutely believe he will. So, I’m very disappointed about the loss yesterday. But I like the results for the season. That is how I choose to deal with all of this because it is a choice. I found the OP for this thread to be whiny and spiteful.Seriously, to tell other fans not to greet the team at the airport is genuinely childish in my opinion. I found the OP to be offensive to all other bills fans whether you agree with him or not. Are usually don’t take these emotional issues too far when I post. I prefer to deal with actual on the field issues. But, in my opinion, the OP went to far and is not handling this loss well.
  11. Of course it’s “debatable”. Ford may end up being an all pro guard next year. I’ll give you the benefit of a doubt that you know you need 2 to 3 years before you can assess a draft class.
  12. The team was six and 10 last year 10 and six this year! They got to the playoffs and lost to an evenly matched team on the road. In overtime for chrissakes!! These takes about Jauron 2.0 are inane! And enough about the schedule, already. Way overstated as an issue! And to actually tell fans not to greet the team at the airport because you can’t handle your personal disappointment and anger at the team comes across as nothing more than infantile spite. Lame! Very, very lame
  13. Speak for yourself! Don’t tell me or any other fans how they should feel or what they should do in response to the loss. I am disappointed. I am not embarrassed. The team was not embarrassed on national TV. That is BS. It was a disappointing loss after a surprisingly good season. Quite frankly you need to get over yourself just a little bit
  14. Bittersweet day overall but this is some consolation.
  15. One issue with peanut oil is that it can impart an unwanted flavor in the food. Just sayin’ Actually......you should use any oil you want. I’m just chiming in because I don’t know what to do with myself until game time. All the wings will be great, I’m sure. And....my irrational side is concerned that so many “pundits” are picking the Bills. Nah, we got this!
  16. There is no such thing as being “due” in this context at all. A total non issue. A Bills win would not be a true upset. I read your post about leaving the stadium early when the Bills get clobbered. Sounds like emotional self protection to me.
  17. My take is “you can’t win them all”. But you have to win most of them to be good. And, so far, that seems to be the case. For me it’s a Mulligan
  18. I hope they let him interview, too. I actually think he deserves one more year here with Josh and, presumably, significantly better offensive weapons. With Josh in his third year and some genuine weapons he would have no excuse if he can’t put a potent offense on the field. This would only increase his attractiveness as a potential head coach. But if he has aspirations to be a head coach he can’t be choosy. He needs to take any interview he can get. And, you know, despite the dumpster fire that Cleveland seems to be there is some intriguing talent there on both sides of the ball. Besides, there just aren’t many of these jobs around.
  19. So when we are talking about Foster and his ST value, we are really only talking about his value as the gunner when the Bills punt. Apparently he is inconsequential in any real sense on both punt and kick off returns. So we are really talking about 4 to 7 plays a game. This leaves me feeling skeptical as to why he has been active just about every week. It’s an important position but I can pretty much guarantee you there are other players on this team who are active routinely who can fulfill that role.I’m inclined to believe the coaching staff believes he is a better weapon on offense than Williams.I have never been on the Duke bandwagon, at least until now.I do think Williams has shown that he can make a difference in a game in a way that Foster can’t. I actually don’t care who they sit but I think Duke needs to be active on Saturday.
