I’ve been watching football pretty much all day. I might be wrong, but I swear I have seen more holding penalties today than I have for the season up until today. I wonder if the refs have been told to start calling it more.
I am as stunned and traumatized as everyone else about the end of that game. It was a one in 1000 play and they happen to pull it off. I really don’t care who was taller than who. It was a great play by Hopkins and a great throw by Murray. I just can’t interpret this ending as indicative of some imminent collapse. That’s what a lot of posters said after they lost to Kansas City and Tennessee and look what happened. I really don’t think this team is a house of cards. I have no worries about their psychesI still like how this season is going.. A beat down by Arizona would’ve been more worrisome along those lines.I still like how this season is going.
Sad to say but I never went to a Bills game at the Rockpile. I did see a couple of Bisons games there. I was a fan since day one watching them on TV growing up in Niagara Falls. In another thread it is asked your favorite play in Bill’s history. I chose Mike Stratton’s hit on Keith Lincoln in the 1964 AFL championship game. I was there for the old history!
I’ve been asking myself the same question. I thought the defense played good enough. The offence was truly in a funk. Maybe it was Josh’s shoulder. But I think we’re back.
I’m impressed with the intensity of the Jets. This only goes to show that even with an 0-8 team, great pride.........and a deep seated concern over your next contract.......is what really motivates NFL players.
