  1. Thank you! That 4th and 1 killed me. He tries to take down an RB on fire with a shoulder hit...behind the line of scrimmage...on 4th and 1...on a play that would have ended the game.
  2. The Colts came out hungry and played with a lot of intensity. They have a great o-line, and a really good front 7 on D. This was always going to be a tough game. The AFC playoffs are pretty stacked with talented teams. Still, I feel like Daboll made a lot questionable calls. I'd like to see more camera angles to see if the Colts were doing something to stop our passing attack. But the designed runs with Josh Allen running parallel to the LOS just didn't make sense. This is a passing team, but we had a 3 and out early where we ran the ball on all 3 downs. Our running game has been questionable all season. And the Colts have a dominating front 7. Did Daboll screw up the game plan this week, or did the Colts take it away?
  3. I think Diggs and Beasley are both gutting it out on the field. They're playing hurt. That's why the roster moves with Duke, and Stills. And this might be why Josh was running so much out there. Not saying I agree. I was just as pissed off as the rest of you.
  4. The longer we last in the playoffs, the more likely he stays. Teams don't like waiting to hire new head coaches.
  5. Absolutely! We really can see him improving week to week. As much as I'm blown away by his arm, it's his ability to adjust and be coached that impresses me the most.
  6. Define meaningless game. I want the Bills to have the #2 seed. The Steelers may lose 2 more games.
  7. I don't envy the decisions that Beane will have to make. But this is the price of being a good GM in the NFL. You have to be willing to let good players walk. And you must draft well. I absolutely loved the signing of Williams. But it will be hard to keep him and Milano. Also, we have to make sure there's enough money to sign Josh and Edmunds to extensions (I believe these are the priorities for Beane and McDermott). Then you have to expect that Diggs will want a raise soon.
  8. Chiefs barely got past the Dolphins today. The conference is wide open. Bills are heating up at the right time. Teams like the Chiefs and Steelers are wearing down. I'm not saying they're going to win for sure, but the Bills can beat any team in the NFL. We have a good chance.
  9. Defense. They're healing up and starting to look like last year's squad. Steelers really only had one scoring drive. The other was a short field from the interception
  10. Agreed. You can find athletic guys with rocket arms in the NCAA. But what has impressed me the most, and what gives me hope for the future, is Josh's ability to be coached. It's clear that he recognizes that he has issues, and you can almost see him working on those issues from week to week. The jump he made from year 2 to year 3 is bonkers. He's committed to learning and perfecting his craft and it shows. A side note, I feel the same way about McDermott. He seems to be willing to adjust his coaching style and tendencies. The ability to self analyze with honesty is invaluable. We have guys willing to do that.
  11. It seems that most seasons, a talented team gets hot late in the season and rides the wave to a deep playoff push (2019 Titans). The Bills this season have had a lot of key injuries yet still have found success. Looks like this team is getting healthy at the right time. The Bills are well poised to be that hot team heading into the final stretch. Fingers crossed.
  12. I hope you're right. But I can easily see this Dolphins team beat the Pats and Raiders. My guess is that we're both likely at 11 - 4 going into the last game for the AFCE title.
  13. In the offseason, I couldn't believe anyone was writing off the Dolphins. They had a depleted roster last year, but played hard for their coach (who I think is excellent). The restocked in the offseason, and had a solid draft. Looks like we're back in the early/mid 90s. Bills and Dolphins duking it out for the AFC East. But, to your point, we need them to lose 3 of the next 7 to be safe. Then the Bills have to do their part.
  14. As a fan, I want Morse back in the line-up. As a human, I want him to stop and take care of himself. I really am worried about his health at this point.
  15. Hopefully Josh doesn't have a hormone disorder...
  16. What happened is that defenses figured out the offense that Daboll spent the offseason designing. To be fair, this is also the offense that Allen has been running all offseason as well. We need to see if Daboll and Allen can adjust their game. We haven't seen that yet. And until this happens, our offense will continue to struggle. I know he's crazy athletic, but the part of Josh Allen's game that has impressed me the most is his ability to learn and adjust. He's coachable. I believe he has the ability to get things right. He just needs time. But how much time can we afford? And is Daboll the right person to teach him? I don't see Daboll as having the same ability to adjust his game. I guess we'll see.
  17. Josh and Daboll need to show that they can adjust their game mid-season, not just during an off-season. On the other side of the ball, we seem to have a finesse defense that lost it's fire (except for Hyde). I don't know if it is injuries, new contracts, or the loss of guys like Zo, Shaq, and Phillips. But this defense needs a jolt. Hopefully Frazier and McDermott figure out some coverage schemes that give our d-line a chance to apply pressure. And hopefully they find a scheme to keep Klein on the bench... Seattle, like the Bills, has relied on their offense to carry them. The defense stinks. On paper, this game should be a high scoring affair. It will be difficult, but the Bills can win this game.
  18. I was going to write something similar to this. I've been wondering if Beane doesn't trust his pro-scouting department. There are 30 other teams out there (besides Bills and Panthers). Why keep going back to the Carolina pipeline? I haven't been critical of the Panther tendency in the past. But enough staying in your comfort zone. This defense needs a jolt. Staying in your safe-space won't provide this and neither will Worley (in all likelihood). If we're going to sign a low level CB, then fine. I agree that this is a big need. I find it hard to believe; however, that one of those other 30 teams doesn't have a practice squad player with more potential than Worley.
  19. We can't stop the run. They have a great ground game. They don't need Kittle or Garoppolo. The front 7 will need their best game of the year for us to have a chance. Just my opinion.
  20. *cough Eddie Robinson *cough But yeah, Klein is horrible.
  21. This is the right answer. The young man just isn't doing well. I do not want to rely on his leg in a playoff situation (or with any game on the line for that matter). That doesn't mean he won't get there, or that he won't have a great career. There have been plenty of kickers who go on to good careers after a shaky rookie year. He has potential, and I have hope for the guy. But he has a lot of improving to do.
  22. I don't know if anyone in the league does a better job of taking away your strength on offense like Belichick. Our run game stinks. Belichick will basically challenge us to beat him with our run game.
  23. He has good instincts. You could see that in college. But I don't know that he has the physical traits to be a full time starter. Though I guess that is a similar profile to Levi. So maybe.
