  1. I was hoping that one of these startup leagues would actually partner with the NFL and be a true minor league where NFL teams could develop guys that they signed to futures contracts or guys that were on practice squads.
  2. I will. Starts Saturday night on CBS. There are a few recognizable names in the league and a few ex-Bills.
  3. I agree with your premise that the game is officiated by imperfect people and is made up of so many judgement calls. I only question how the *pats o-line NEVER holds even though we see many obvious examples on replay every game?
  4. Why is he doing interviews though? He looks like a fool laying back in the chair looking at his Dad and playing with his hair.
  5. I’m worried about the Jets driving up the price for free agents since they have many of the same needs as us and even more cap space.
  6. I don't remember everyone on tv screaming for rule changes when an obvious illegal forward lateral on a kickoff changed the outcome of a playoff game.
  7. That was a horrible missed PI call. I don’t think it’s rigged however, I saw the play clock at 0 three times with the Saints on offense and not one penalty called.
  8. I’m so done with this team. Lol, just kidding, never heard of the guy. I hope he’s good.
  9. If the Bills had evaluated Mahomes and thought he could end up looking anything like the guy who has ripped apart the NFL this season, they obviously would have taken him with their first-round pick. Instead, they sent the 10th selection to the Chiefs for the 27th and 91st selections, along with Kansas City's 2018 first-round pick, which ended up as the 22nd pick. The Bills drafted star cornerback Tre'Davious White with Kansas City's 2017 first-rounder, and then used the other two picks in trades that eventually netted them Zay Jones and Tremaine Edmunds. Sean McDermott undoubtedly loves his two defensive building blocks, and the Bills believe that Josh Allen, their other first-rounder in 2018, can turn into a viable starter, but they would undoubtedly trade all three for Mahomes in a heartbeat. I don't think that I would. Thoughts? BTW the article crushes the Bills over Gilmore as well.
  10. I believe that Kingsbury said it as the coach of Texas Tech simply paying respect to an upcoming opponent.
  11. A team would have to be crazy to hire him as a D coordinator. He would undercut the head coach at every opportunity to try and get the HC job. Just like his dad used to do.
  12. he seems like a good coach as a designer of an offense but not a very good leader. The Dolphins really seemed to quit on him the past several years once they were eliminated from the playoff chase. That's one thing you have to credit McDermott for. The Bills never quit no matter what their record.
  13. Thank you. I'm in Gulfport and it's just as bad. When I moved here in 96 I wanted to root for the Saints as my second favorite team. The fans made it impossible. Every one of them swears that they are lifelong fans and have been to every game since they became a team but nobody went to the games or even cared about them before Brees and Payton and they even turned on them a couple of years ago even though they all swear they didn't now.
  14. It’s not about the top of the draft. The experts find the UFAs like Foster or Andre Reed at Kutztown State. We all know the top players but they know everyone. I disagree that they are just as bad as you and I.
  15. the US population is approximately 55-60% white. Nobody ever demands that the players better represent “diversity”. Should we insist on more white players or Hispanic or Asian players?
  16. I think he will be great. The experts predicted that he would have such a long learning curve because he didn't play with or against future NFL talent in college like most QB's in power 5 conferences do. It seems like he caught up much faster than most expected.
  17. Hopefully the QB needy teams will fall in love with a few of this years prospects and move up in front of us to push a few top guys down to #9.
  18. The trip to Nashville is always a great time.
  19. You’re correct. I should have stated “earlier in the year”. I think Coughlin was suspect of this latest injury. I believe he missed 8 games this year.
  20. I think it has more to do with the Jaguars belief that Fournette's hamstring was healed 3 weeks ago and he just won't play. He was never a team guy at LSU and it appears that he isn't in Jacksonville. Coughlin is an old school, team first guy.
  21. He’ll be out of the league in a few years. (See Tim Tebow and Vince Young)
