Tim Hasslebeck just said on espn that it should have been an illegal forward pass in the end zone. Safety for the Bills and Houston should have then been kicking off to the Bills.
My opinion is that it should have been a touchback but by the letter of the rule it’s a live ball. But once you make the td call, you can’t reverse it.
It’s hard to compare these QBs because of the entirely different situations they are in. Mahomes is throwing to wide open guys and yes, he looks really good but it’s basically playing catch.
I used the term sandbagging yesterday. No Tre or double coverage on Edelman, no blitzes at all. I think he didn’t want to show them anything in case we see them in the playoffs. (At least I hope that was the case for yesterday’s game plan)
I don’t understand the defensive game plan. Nobody covering Edelman way to many times. I watched KC and Houston both double him and that shut down their offense.
