I guess that’s where we disagree. He will eventually get dinged up running so much and he’s not a good enough passer to make up for it if that’s taken away.

I consider him a below average passer since they had to devise a gimmick offense for him. I would bet that with a full offseason to break it down that next year it won’t be as successful. 3 tight ends and very few passes over 6-10 yards doesn’t seem like long term success to me. But hey, I could be wrong, they are 10-2 and have beaten some good teams. I would argue that teams are catching up to their passing game. His 4 highest yardage total games were the first four games of the season. In his last 8 games he’s had 3 over 200 yards passing and 5 under.

What continues? He’s averaging 211 yards a game. That’s not great. But you go ahead and keep sniffing his jock.

I think Baltimore is definitely beatable. Make Lamar read handoff on the option. He’s a below average passer imo.

I have to agree that the “glory” teams (patriots,cowboys) get the benefit of every call and non call.

It did appear to me that the coaching staff was unprepared when we reached the 35 with about 50 seconds left. That’s inexcusable. We should have kept throwing, we had momentum and the Browns back on their heels.

Absolutely. A blocking TE can’t take 2-4 penalties every game.

No way Lamar Jackson has a better career than Allen. They have had to devise a gimmick offense for him where he never throws the ball over 5 yards downfield. It worked for Tebow for a while, same thing will happen with Jackson.

Good write up. My other main concern is the pre-snap penalties aren’t getting any better. We have way to many.

The referees seem to serve the same purpose in both sports.

They have those microphones that talk official to official. They give one to Belichick before each patriots game so they can ask him if the penalty against them should be called or not.

They only put the rule in to pacify a whining fan base (Saints). They never had any intention of enforcing it.
