  1. Trade, when healthy, our best LB when we’re likely going to make his job a whole lot easier if we upgrade the defensive line? That’s a no from me dawg.
  2. We chipping in? Recoup some of the Daniel Jones money?
  3. I hope we are rebuilding again!
  4. Well said, not a slight toward Darnold but his resurrection was a team effort. Absolute perfect scenario.
  5. You never know how any player will realistically pan out in the pros but that draft would be an absolute killer. Love the first 3 picks and Theo Wease in the 6th would be a quality steal, might turn into a decent deep threat. Going back to those first 3, they’re all top 50 talent in this draft, for me. Nabbing them all could catapult the whole defense to quality.
  6. A Darnold return, as unlikely as it is, would be hilarious.
  7. Id bet he gets money similar to Duggar or McKinney. 4 years @ $60-65m isn’t terrible by any means of his first few years become his regular play. The kid is a talented player and would easily remedy a lot of issues we had in safety spot since the duo you referenced. The problem then becomes the money you have going forward that is allocated in the secondary. You could almost guarantee a CB early in the draft if they acquire his services pre 04/24. That money is the only reason I’d rather them grab a guy like Bynum or Moehrig who probably get the $10-12m p/y and are still of quality. The other guy to keep an eye on is Hufanga. If the money is right ($10m or <) I wouldn’t mind them taking their chances on him, the only concern becomes his injury history.
  8. I don’t believe so. Last time I remember his name was he got traded then cut and put on the PS pretty much immediately after.
  9. He looked like a can of Campbells Chunky Soup the last few games lol Maybe he can join his naked brother on the rug next to the fire for a commercial!
  10. Absolutely. Him and Walker are physical specimens. Both of their issues is what most guys that size have a problem with; getting out leveraged. If they can learn to play with better pad level and use their size for their own leverage advantage, they could be seriously dominant. Anchoring their gap/s is a mostly a technique issue with men their size. Hopefully the coaching staff of Babich/Nielsen/West can make that a priority if they end up on this team.
  11. I’m in the camp of addressing the CB & DT needs first. Preferably the DT for the reason you said but more that if you hit it correctly it can absolve a lot of the issues in the McD/Babich schemes on the line and secondary. Obviously an injection of talent is needed in the backend with Douglas likely gone but I have faith they find a guy with one of their other picks between of 56, 62 or 107. Deon Walker and Alfred Collins are 2 of my favorite prospects right now on the DT front but will probably be going in or around the 2nd to 3rd round, at pre-combine. I believe one or both of them land into the conversations or late first early second rounders after the combine is concluded. If Harmon or Nolan are there at 30, I’d hope they strongly consider that selection too.
  12. Another awesome Children’s Story!!!
  13. Other than that bone headed INT in FG territory he, like you said, played a quality game. Cant complain about the selection. Not the only reason they won but certainly was key. Kid elevates himself in the Super Bowl in back to back appearances.
  14. So we trade Brady for Brady?
  15. Well said. I think that will solve a lot of our problems.
  16. Honestly man, I’d rather they go get a safety in FA. There’s a few decent options. Most notably Javon Holland, Camryn Bynum and Trayvon Moehrig for what we need; Free.
  17. Exactly. People banging on about Sean’s defensive coaching philosophy and scheme are the same that are praising the Eagles through and through. The systems are similar in a lot of ways. Talent is the problem.
  18. It was either a close win or them getting the brakes beaten off them. There was no in between. True roster quality showed last night.
  19. Im not in the writing off Mahomes camp by any means but this is his second Super Bowl in his “GOAT” period where he’s played like absolute trash. This was worse than SB55. The casual fan will look back and see it’s not that bad a stat line and may even say the Bucs game was worse? Not even close. The only time Mahomes did anything the defense was in limp mode and the final 2 scoring drives were against the majority of their backups. Passer rating, love or hate the metric, Mahomes had a 10.7 rating prior to the Eagles letting up 34-0. I can’t think of a worse performance outside Rich Gannon’s in SB37…
  20. There was some dubious calls early but it seemed the refs did a make up and it evened itself out. They couldn’t give them the freebies with what’s happened in their last 2 games on route to the Super Bowl. Fans and media have been relentless is pointing out suspicions of calls that attribute a sense of favoritism. Directly or indirectly. The biggest takeaway from the game in terms of officiating was the strip sack by Milton Williams. Jalen Carter (98) crushing Mahomes’ face mask into his skull lol. Thought for sure it would have been RTP.
  21. JFC. People can’t help themselves? The guy put all his stat line up in essential garbage time. The score was 34-0… If he was that good the difference would have been visible prior to the end of the third quarter. He has Mahomes and Reid. That makes up for a lot. Stop doing this to yourselves lol
  22. The fact that there’s a thread for Fitz being in Canton and another that essentially questions whether Allen is qualified right now is mind boggling lol
