Yeah, running on third down was the decision. 2 cracks at getting one yard, clock stops and gives you time to get your best call in for 4th down if you fail to convert.
They might be in trouble if they go scoreless on this drive. This season most of Detroit’s scoring drives are sustained, long drives. They seem to be struggling to recreate the 2 to 5 play TDs that cover the length of the field in under a minute lol
The wife showed me a video she saw on TikTok or Facebook where a guy was like “who is that???”
-picture of Maye-
“is that…?”
/squints/
-Maye’s face turns into Brady’s.
Made me chuckle.
Hate it for their fans. Love it for Haslam & co.
The fact they didn’t do Baker any decency by having conversations about possibly moving on to Watson makes them get everything negative they deserve. Baker’s top end success is the icing on the cake!
Every team they’ve played has had serious success on the ground. Chargers are the only exception. They were without a fully healthy Omarion Hampton and Najee Harris. Firmly believe they give up more than the 90 they did if they were available.
Missed the start of the game. Only saw Montgomery on the last drive for the Lions.
Did Gibbs get injured? The box score says he was productive on the ground.
For sure. On top of that there was always around ten to fifteen guys a season who could easily get 10+ sacks a year… now it’s a struggle to get a guy even over 15 sacks.
