  1. That's one of the few that are actually palatable.
  2. Absolutely. I'm not sure if you can put Watkins at very good quite yet but he is definitely at least "good" and not "average". It will be interesting to see how the rest of the rookie WO's land in player category - Benjamin is also "average". Manuel, even though people bellow otherwise, is at least "below average" and at best (right now in his career) "average". He can win you games and lose you some. Poor is a bit of a far cry. I think that will be interesting - speaking of Houston players, I'm interested to see if they grade Clowney as anything. If he gets anything other than "unknown" then any sort of grading credibility can go completely out the window if it hasn't already from the Mario categorization.
  3. Truth be told I can see why, at the time, they stuck with Gordon - dominant player. After this past year and all Gordon's shenanigans? Yeah, total sucker punch.
  4. You're right, they should. But they also need a big target for Wilson to get the ball to. If Lynch goes they need a replacement with a similar playing style to keep that offense effective. The Browns may be desperate for depth at other positions and have young players there but they had limited success on the ground this past season and well, this the Browns... My point with them is that they could trade back from one of those picks and collect others later in the first to take him. They've got a lot of possibilities to fill every position.
  5. Concur completely. I don't think he makes it to the 20's. My suspicion is the Chargers or Browns (given they have two firsts) will draft him. Failing that, the next three candidates are the Ravens, Cowboys (Demarco dependent) and Seattle (Lynch dependent). Actually - if Gurley turns into what many envision, it's hard to pass on a back that can move the short yardage, especially early in the second for a team in possible rebuild mode.
  6. Great to know pathetic teams like the Bucs fan base are laughing at us even trying to possibly render his services. He's left without a contract and hopefully is stays that way. Now I am not stating outright that I think McCown is horrible, he just shouldn't be the first and last person we try and bring in.
  7. Get to the playoffs and anything can happen... After recent years with the Packers and Giants runs, Seattle throttling the Broncos in the SB, Seattle beating the defending champs in the wild card (@ 7-9) and a few others, I would totally be all for this move. It doesn't guarantee us a playoff berth but my golly we would have to have an incredible stroke of bad luck not to make them again. Sammy would thrive with Peyton, Manuel gains more experience from one of the best to play the game and our defensive unit isn't stranded on the field and relied upon to keep us in or win the game. Win-win!
  8. Another re-tread thread with a different title? Here's the answers which you can expect: "No way." "Get AP." "Build through the draft." "RB's are dime and dozen."
  9. I disagree that the whole list is average or wash-outs. That Ansah kid is a freak. He's played football for a total period of 3 years. He's still raw and I know he plays next to two DTs who are great but I really think he is going to carve a decent career for himself. Warmack ain't too shabby either. I'd take him at the drop of a hat if we could.
  10. I'm not suggesting either are elite just that they are what a franchise QB is - Someone you can build an offense around. Ryan has been on a team that has never had any reasonable defense yet they've still consistently been in games or won them. I'd take Ryan in a heartbeat. As well as Staffy. Do I think they can lead a team to a SB? Sure, if everything clicks and falls into place.
  11. With Evans & V-Jax in Tampa, I think whoever goes there can be successful.
  12. Every top QB has a centerpiece target in their offense... Brees - Graham. Peyton - DT/Julius Thomas Brady - Gronk Rodgers - Nelson/Cobb Big Ben - Brown Romo - Dez So on and so forth....
  13. Interesting. You really wouldn't state Stafford or Ryan are franchise QB's? I think they are both certainly quarterbacks who can be built around and have proved to will their teams to wins. More so, I wouldn't outright say those two aren't and Flacco is. I think they're all on the same level.
  14. Forget the fact of his off the field issues. There's been a few of them in Buffalo's history. Can he play? Yes. Will he play? I don't doubt it. Is he worth the contract he'll get if he does indeed miss anything between 4-8 games? No. If Hughes doesn't break the bank, I am more than happy if we secure his services for the future. If he does then we find a replacement. Plain and simple. This line is talented enough to made an average player into a potential pro bowl selection if they bust their backside in the correct and appropriate manner week in, week out.
  15. You're right. All millionaires or home owners who work as much as a HC in the NFL, do their own gardening or landscaping. My bad.
  16. Not a big fan of Richie but it would appear we've upgraded the OG in the acquisition. Not that it was very hard to begin with. I think that's it for the O-Line and doubt we see any of the names that most have clamored for in the FA pool - Iupati and Boling. The upside? Reasonable deal that gives us plenty of wiggle room to still make some moves. Hopefully for Richie, the offense, the Bills and us fans as a whole that it works out. Eric Wood isn't a nice person and don't let Cordy's glasses fool you either.
  17. For a man who spends most of his time near grass (or artificial), those lawns are in a pretty tattered state.
  18. Didn't the Ravens more him there at one point prior to getting rid of him?
  19. Sublime however no thank you to the Sanchize. I am neither a complete advocate for or against Manuel but I think he deserves at least one more crack at winning (and keeping) the starting job.
  20. Thanks a lot man, really appreciate the effort you all put into keeping TBD useable and a success!
