  1. This is fandom? !@#$ you. Seriously. IF we lost our first 15 games next season I would still want them to win and play to win irresepective if that win cost them the #1 overall. I don't like the Bills losing period. Never have. Never will.
  2. Regarding Pegula, you couldn't have stated it any better. Absolutely. I am indifferent to him staying or going. Whether he stays or goes, there must me an interest to upgrade (like you stated) the offensive line and QB. I don't think Hackett is essential that bad a coach as a lot of the misfires hinged on both quarterback and O-Line play but we could and should do significantly better than him.
  3. The difference between Maybin and Barr comes down to coaching; specifically Zimmer. He's executing Barr in the right role he needs to be in and not trying to make him something he's not.
  4. Houston will be seeing a charitable donation in one form or the other then. That's the one thing I hand to Mario - he's sincere and true to himself.
  5. And promptly fall flat on their face. A work colleague of mine is a die-hard Falcons fan and is convinced after the Saints win that they beat Carolina this Sunday and get all the way to the NFC Championship "easily". I couldn't help but be amused until I realized he was deadly serious. His reasoning for why? "Matty Ryan and Julio = Money". Fair point really!
  6. Didn't Oakland have the strongest strength of schedule this season? I think he performed well. Could it have been better? Sure! But he's a building block for the future. A fundamental one that looks very possible to succeed, which for the Raiders, is about time.
  7. Whilst there's a few candidates that went in the first round, I would definitely have no problem with still taking Sammy - he's unique. I agree with you JTSP that Mack is a force but I think our biggest miss (especially after the play from the interior of our offensive line and watching a few of the Raiders games this season) was Mississippi State's Gabe Jackson. Would have no problem if Preston Brown or him were our second and third round picks but the Kouandjio pick is looking like a long shot to see regular playing time. Actually, Trai Turner or Russell Bodine could have been potentially better, hopefully he turns it around though I don't see that happening anytime soon unless he has a miraculous offseason and TC.
  8. Nice video and insight to our D-Line and our Pro Bowlers. After watching it I have high optimism that Jerry will resign as long as the contract is fair. Part 2:"Y'all didn't invite Larry Bird!"
  9. Our team dropped the ball in so many close and winnable games. That goes from the calls by referees to just bone head plays. We really were so close this year...
  10. My bad, I thought you were serious given the fact of your last point - the amount of Pro Bowlers and wins they had last season. It is a lot but I can give good reason to every single one of those Broncos being a Pro Bowler with the exception of maybe Ware and Ward.
  11. Marrone should be back with the FO doing everything in their power to bring in another QB to compete for the starter spot along with EJ and Orton (if he's still here). Polian, Cowher and any of the other regular fantasies will only ever be just that - fantasies. Ain't happening.
  12. The Browns also only have 3. Hate to say I told you so.
  13. Great find! Thanks for the link! Definitely not. I see Kyle right at the end with Marcell. Mario right above him.
  14. Nope. Dareus, Mario and Kyle will be our Pro Bowlers. No way the Browns have more than three.
  15. The line isn't as steller but it is serviceable for throwing. Orton has a problem of predetermining where he's going to go 7-8 times out of 10 and sticks with it regardless. Could the line be better? You bet your behind it could! So could the QB play and offense as a whole. My only and major griper with the offensive line is the inability to get a push or generate anything remotely close to a run game.
  16. He comes across as more of a Randall Cunningham.
  17. Who's to say that Sammy or any one of the other first round receivers this past draft are "generational". The difference between Beckham and Watkins is that they try to get the ball in OBJ's hands as much and as often in all phases of the field. When Sammy has a decent few catches in a game and he starts to get focused on by the opposing defense or even a safety rolled to his side, it appears as though he moves further down the list of Orton's options. Sure, he isn't open on some plays but all it takes is just to target him and see what happens - which should be the case with any teams number one wide-out. Now I'm not advocating a complete gunslinger as our QB but anyone who has the attitude that a player with that much talent needs to be getting the football regardless, be that Orton, Manuel or whoever we have as our starter next season.
  18. Jimmy Ov' is a significant part of the problem too. I mean with the position him and Russ have had the past years it must come on their shoulders. Not an absolute fore-gone conclusion but blame on them none the less. Our talent pool was never stocked up and when it did? It was never retained. Gut wrenching my friends, that's all this ride has been for the past 16...
  19. You could have just posted the link you took that from, failing that, sort it out so it's not a bloody eye sore. How 'bout Orton eh?! Does he get no man love from you for this position?! If there was one from that list? Ingram. End of.
  20. Wait... a 6th rounder. We don't do too well with that round. 'Cuse reunion? No thank you sir.
  21. So he'll be able to fix the firewalls you mentioned 'sucked'? Sounds good. Only a 7th rounder though bub'!
