  1. That would be special but I honestly think that if KC are not able to shell space to resign him then he ends up in Carolina or Atlanta.
  2. I love Revis' play and the same goes for Hughes but a cornerback hitting 30 with several ligament injuries over the past few years? No thank you.
  3. LOL Absolutely forgot that he's the son of THAT Ingram. Anyways, lets not hold that against Mark Jr.
  4. Gore is a FA is he not? If we are, which I doubt, going to sign a power back he would be the more likely option. Failing that I would guess Bilal Powell or Mark Ingram would be more sufficient and likely targets for us. Concurring with MSW, Guard is more pressing - Boling, Iupati, Reitz, Carpenter or Dan Connolly could be nice.
  5. Didn't say you specifically did. Nice to know that's all you took out of my two posts in response to you though.
  6. And please, don't come back with the whole "if the players suck" scenario. San Fran' had plenty of talent on offense to throw the ball successfully and were completely underwhelming. On second thought, given the pieces they have had, it's disgusting how badly they threw the ball. Still, he's a great hire and is definitely creative.
  7. Ah, here we go again, another person highlighting a specific part to tailor their own perception. I'm not saying a coach nowadays will or even can... I didn't suggest as much either. My observation is simply that the way half of the fan base is banging on about Roman, you would expect just that. And in fact, in numerous threads I've seen the words "creative" and "innovative" attached to Roman. Now tell me, if someone isn't able redefine the game by even a slither then he or she is hardly "innovative" or completely out-right "creative". I haven't even seen it. He's run first - which is good given our QB situation. When the run has to be abandoned? Yeah... I have seen absolute jack-squat from his offenses.
  8. BS. ATL had a fair few Primetime games! If I'm not mistaken, it was at least 3 this season, if not 4.
  9. Most of the posters on this site are completely polarizing. All this love for an OC who isn't exactly changing or redefining the game of football on offense, yet you all are stating he is?! Sure our running game will likely improve but I've seen nothing as of late which dictates that this guy is what half of you are saying: "creative"/"innovative". Won't surprise me if things fail and he's thrown into the mud each and every week. Still, "he's better than Hackett", right?
  10. I would like to think so. If Douglas ends up the Jets coach? One of them has to go on primetime. Without any hesitation.
  11. Well with the way Schwartz has our defensive unit playing, maybe he'll leave Jim to it and then we can actually see how good a HC Rex is. Rex has a great defensive mind, overall as a head coach? I'm unsure. I've seen good and I've seen bad. One thing is for certain - it sure will be fun! Yours and mine both.
  12. I've been busy as of late and didn't manage to catch up with the alert (from the dreaded site that we are not allowed to link on here) that came through on my phone which stated that EJ Manuel is scaring off a lot of potential candidates/interviewees for the HC position... Not buying that completely. Think it is all speculation because of Douglas rendering the position vacant. Anyway, whilst I think he would do a reasonable job here, I just don't see Rex turning this program round and getting us where we need to go offensively. Precisely my concern.
  13. Reasonable but I pray for not getting Adam Gase. I'll have a crack: Bills: Pep Hamilton or Darrell Bevell (However, I have a feeling we actually promote Schwartz for at least this upcoming season and why not?) Bears: Jack Del Rio Falcons: Josh McDaniels or Rex Ryan 49ers: Todd Bowles Jets: Mike Shanahan Raiders: Dan Quinn
  14. Easy tiger! We are a far cry from 'sucking' as a team. I think it automatically becomes a match-up the Bills circle on the calender each year Marrone is HC there (providing he gets the gig).
  15. As long as there's no Heartbreakers... Ayyyyyyyy! Seriously though, I know virtually nothing about the kid. I am guessing he's at least a 2 year project if we draft him?
  16. I've watched Luck play and he does make some miraculous plays but in terms of defenders being draped all over him and making throws? No. Nobody does it like the Berger.
  17. Better Big Ben? It was one heck of a play but there was hardly even one defender all over him.
  18. I don't know.... Are we? I thought you were saying we needed a decent OL coach and better guards with a workhorse back to match (which I agree). It may be your "otherwise" part which threw me. It sounded like "otherwise, if we can't get the OL coach, guards or RB then let our defense win games like Seattle have requiredin the past". Either way, I totally agree with the need part
  19. Yeah and I am stating that he's currently the assistant HC there... If Bevell goes surely he slides from OLine coach to OC/Assistant HC... My man, Seattle had both of what we need AND a defense... There is no "otherwise" to replicating Seattle's success seeing as they had a good OL coach and decent guards to block for a workhorse back with that defensive unit...
  20. I'm not so sure. Definitely a first rounder but I have concern over durability and consistency to hang in a pocket with this kid. Either way, all the best to him.
  21. No way Cable drops the Seahawks for just simply an OL coach gig. He's currently the assistant HC there, no?
  22. Surprising, didn't think he'd opt out. I knew he wouldn't get an extension but I thought he'd be here at least another year after the job he did this season. Oh well, on to the next one! Talk is he wants to head to NY and secure the Jets job. Stating he enjoyed his time there as the OL coach.
