  1. I'm really looking forward to this game. Hope to see the Bills use Groot more at DT and get in some throwing lanes. I haven't seen enough of Tua, but I do think McDaniel is going to be a decent coach for them.
  2. Of course Allen is better, if not the best. However, that doesn’t mean Tua hasn’t improved. I think too many here are underestimating the impact of McDaniel who has structured an offense to support Tua. Since they’ve only played 2 games, I’m sure they are getting better as a whole. I expect this should be a shoot out that Allen and the Bills win, especially given the injuries on D.
  3. I am so glad he is back in BLo! I like this guy a lot, as a player and as a person. The play he nearly sacked Tannehill on, they had a great downfield view of what Tannehill was trying to do. The safety (wasn't sure who on the Bills) let a WR go down the sideline and would've been wide open. Tannehill was trying to put all he could into the throw and Big Phil hit him right at the release and prevented the possible TD. It was a big hit much like the lick he put on Stafford the week before. I hate that he might not play Sunday against Tua.
  4. For me, the most important stat is the point differential, at 27.5. No other team comes close to that.
  5. The only stat that matters, Lombardi Trophy winner.
  6. I think the important conclusion about WR depth is we'll have to dress a punter if either of Davis or Diggs miss a game.
  7. Just did a Kumerow search to see if anyone gave him some credit--good call. Relatedly, there has been a lot of discussion about Beane's focus in the draft and FA related to D vs O, CB vs WR, OL vs DL. I don't think there is a right answer, though I'm a "D wins championships" guy. The run D was a weak link and the lack of depth at CB hurt them last year, so I'm glad they addressed both, AND then adding the closer in Miller. I'm sure focusing on OL and WR would make this O even more unstoppable, but I think having Josh makes up for not adding another dynamic WR and middle of the shelf OL. The related part, even a JAG like Kumerow makes plays in this O.
  8. Any voter of consequence will know he did that in 3 quarters causing the Titans to put up the white flag.
  9. That sucks. He's played great so far. He absolutely drilled Tannehill to prevent a deep throw for a possible TD. Hate that he won't have that opportunity against Tua in Round 1.
  10. I said something similar during his first year here, there's just something about him that is no frills, easy listening. He seems like someone you'd want to get know. I like Jordan Phillips in this respect too.
  11. He's a better regular season QB than playoff QB. With the Titans, his completion % is 67.1% and passer rating of 102.1 during the regular season; and, in the playoffs, he's at 62.7% and 85.2 respectively.

  13. Peter King's first installment of the new season has some interesting info on the Bills' pass rush from Next Gen Stats: A lot of talk in the preseason about Epenesa, and that get-off time = to Miller's is impressive. The pressure rates were impressive too: There's some other Bills info in the link and some really good stuff on Dabol's decision to go for 2: https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/09/12/saquon-barkley-giants-peter-king-fmia-week-1/?cid=fmiatw Favorite part of it was "Tweets of the week" with this nugget...
  14. Pace yourself man. You don't want my experience for a Jimmy Buffett - Eagles concert. Toking and drinking in preparation, then fell asleep in my seat. Missed Buffett comletely, but I did wake up just as the Eagles started with Hotel California...
  15. Yeah, didn't mean to imply he was bad, rather he's the only one who stood out with some miscues. It was meant as a compliment to the OL in general.
