  1. I’ll let you know if I’m in the too many holes to fill camp after this week, as they will fill some of them.
  2. If they intend to go with an unproven rookie at QB, then they better have 2 stud tackles.
  3. I fully expected the Bills to trade for Foles after trading Tyrod, since they obviously have a replacement plan, and I fully expected it within 24 hours of the Taylor trade. It seems to me they would've had a deal in place, and executed it quickly. Since it hasn't been done (though there's still a little time), I'm guessing they will go with a FA signing, and they already have that in place.
  4. You could think of it as a second and Taylor if it happens.
  5. A good human being. Best of luck Tyrod.
  6. I bet it was the bills who offered a second for Foles. I could see the eagles taking the 53 and 65 for him. They need cheap new bodies.
  7. If the plan was to move up then you’d think that would’ve been the trade. Suggests they may use this pick in a trade for Foles.
  8. I found this interesting tidbit from an article on NFL.com: A safety with a baseball background? The appeal is real: I was interested in December when Billscoach Sean McDermott talked at a press conference about defensive backs with a baseball background. McDermott likes that. Bills safeties Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer both enjoyed fine 2017 campaigns, with each hauling in five interceptions. Hyde played shortstop in high school and told me that background remains valuable as he backpedals while tracking a ball. Poyer was a college outfielder and said the experience helps now. "There's tracking it and actually catching it," McDermott told me in Indy. "When a guy can't catch, tracking the ball is a lot of it. That's the baseball part (and) both Jordan and Micah do a phenomenal job of that." Combine Confidential
  9. Where's B-Man to tell us about the nice jobs report this morning? It will make the Fed a little nervous.
  10. Competition for R. Davis? If he pans out, bills can save $1.2 mil by releasing Davis.
  11. I could see the Jets trading for Foles after they lose out on Cousins.
  12. I could see the Bills moving to 14 IF someone like Rosen falls. The trade chart works out as Bills give GB 21 and 53, and get 14 and 114.
  13. Trade dion dawkins... or, hey guys what do you think of this ......fill in the blank...
  14. Good character guy that fits McD's style. I would as long as the $ is right.
  15. It’s all part of trump’s genius negotiating strategy, or so I hear...
  16. The only thing that would make me say that is if they brought back Rex...
  17. No, it’s the situation. Rosen, Darnold, Allen, and Mayfield are viewed as potential franchise QBs, not HoFers, but legitimate starters. Some would throw in Jackson. There is no consensus on the order. There is a consensus on who the best player in the draft is. The Browns will not get Cousins. There is no one else in FA who is as good as the top 4 rooks.
  18. Need one of them to make the trade for Foles.
  19. You misunderstand the analogy. I’m not comparing them to those 3. If you had picks 1 and 4, and you had Jim brown and Kelly, Marino, and Elway available, who would you choose?
  20. Agreed. Hopefully either the Jets or broncos get cousins, as they may be the only other teams with the need and ammo to make the move.
  21. I agree. I think the differences in the top 3-4 QBs are like choosing between Kelly and Marino, you can't lose no matter who you get "stuck" with..
  22. If this happens, the I'd say it's almost certain the Bills would make a play for indy's pick #3. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000919463/article/browns-could-select-rb-saquon-barkley-no-1-overall
  23. Rooting for Oldman. The wife dragged me to Darkest Hour because she's a Churchill buff. She tells me after his first scene, it's Gary Oldman--I hadn't read anything about it beforehand. I said no way, and spent the rest of the movie trying to catch a glimpse of something that gave him away. Unfortunately, I saw Dunkirk last summer, so the ending of DH was anticlimactic....? she also dragged me to Lady Bird, and I walked out very impressed. Another movie that's been done many times over but great performances by Ronan and Metcalf. I really enjoyed Shape of Water too and hope it beats Billboards, which I didn't see, and have no desire to. I'm pulling for Jenkins in best supporting role, as I'm a fan of six feet under.
  24. I don’t see how they can keep him with their current cap situation? They’re going to have to do some major manipulating.
