  1. That probably leaves them with close to $11 million after you factor in the top 7 picks in the draft pool push about $4 mil worth of salaries off the top 51. They can easily bring back a guy like L. Johnson at vet min, and maybe squeeze one more guy on for $1-1.5 mil, maybe...
  2. Spotrac says $5 mil for Davis.
  3. He's one of a handful of non-starters that provide $1+ mil in cap space with minimal dead cap $. I don't think it's anything more than that.
  4. And Josh Allen must be a lock this year!
  5. I’m glad he has an opportunity to compete for the starting job. Let’s see what he can do with it.
  6. It's almost as if you're asking if "there's a rush to judgment" about a certain QB....
  7. 24, but there are a lot of negatives
  8. 18th thread this month with "mayfield" in the title...in case anyone was interested... 26 for Rosen, so he must be the TSW favorite.
  9. Stop cluttering this thread! Clutter the front page so all of the "my trade idea" posts get pushed off it...
  10. [Auotmated response]Please refrain from TSW-type behavior on this site.
  11. It's debatable...
  12. Oh, how soon we forget Brandon Reilly, the love of last year's preseason.....
  13. As Sal said this morning, GMs discount next year’s pick by a round at the time of the trade. I assume the trade worked in KC’s favor in that case.
  14. Yes, nobody but McD got that signing right. He was the better safety in the second half of the season. Therefore, I’ll trust McD on Star. As others suggest, Murphy will depend on his health.
  15. Sorry, Mayfield seems more Trump-like than Allen. It's definitely Mayfield. Rosen is a Bernie supporter....
  16. I trust the current administration. If they are sold on a guy, then by all means do it. However, they better be right, because the cost is 2 years of non-prime draft picks.
  17. I'm ok going all in if they are very confident in who they pick. If they think Darnold is the man, then I'm ok going for the #1 pick with the Browns; but if they're not certain, then it's a very, very high cost.
  18. They would get a boatload of picks, which they could use to swap #4 for #2 with the Giants.
  19. Yeah, my top 5 reasons for not blowing their wad on moving up, some version of this: 12: Vea/Smith 22: Vander Esch (Ridley If Smith goes at 12) 53: Josh Jackson 56: Goedert (or Harrison if Smith is taken) 65: Ragnow
  20. An important point I took from this, this is a damn good draft overall--70 potential starters. The Bills have 5 picks in the top 65, so trading up this year has a greater cost than a "normal" year. If they trade up, They better love the guy because it could cost them 4 starters at other positions. Damned if you do, damned if you don't....
  21. 15, AZ?
  22. But you don't want to let someone else jump to 7 first.
  23. I like this strategy too, and Pick 56 would more than do the trick to get 7.
