If he’s fired for cause you are probably off the hook for paying. If he’s not fired for cause, but you’re going to pay him the full amount, why not let him do the work? It just seems there is a piece missing here, but it’s none of my business.

Why lay someone off if you are going to pay him for the two years remaining on the contract? Is there something else up here?

When I finished reading this, I went right back to the top to understand what just happened. 😂 The cap is just a myth. It’s accounting nonsense, and I never liked accounting so I just ignore it. It’s worked OK so far. 🤷‍♂️ Edit; sarcasm can be lost on some. My bad. .

The Bills would definitely be an attractive landing spot for top candidates. No doubt in my mind. But remember, they are just like draft picks. Sometimes it works out, and sometimes it doesn’t. I think it’s becoming possible that my #1 reason that I want to win a Super Bowl would be to shut some haters and whiners up. Oh, and McD would have a new job in no time flat, despite being a “defensive HC”. Sure, he’s not been perfect, but I just don’t get the hate.

I think they are loose and ready to move on without the Diggs distraction. We lost a guy who could be a talented WR, but I’m not sure how much worse off we are without him.

We save that for the playoffs. Then we hold a little meet and greet for the new guys, complete with orange slices and name tags.

That’s perfect for me! Our first house in Sarasota, and first ever with a pool, we had a GIANT spa that would hold at least 8 adults, or a kindergarten class. The pool was small, but the spa was huge. Being a pool novice, I assumed the damn thing was heated. We spent a fortune on a pool renovation and the heat was added. Live and learn. Assume with caution. We actually found it very difficult to get a qualified person to do the renovation. One wall wasn’t plum and there was a ton of custom tile, and the one guy we found got out of renovations after us. It’s easier to build from scratch than fix what someone else screwed up.

I live in Atlanta, and they are pretty much an afterthought to college football around here. Having said that, they are in a weak division and may just surprise and win more games than you’d expect this year. I might even pay a little attention.

IDK about you, but we haven’t had a good rain in a while to cool that off. It rained every day we were in the mountains, and the highs were in the low to mid 70’s. It was glorious!

They should add a dome, just to be safe.

He’ll be back in time to win Super Bowl MVP! No, I’m not drinking. Yet. This blows but we played without him most of last year, and we can do it again. It would be great to get a guy of his talent back late in the season.

I also grew to like warmer temps over time. BUT, there IS such a thing as too warm. It can be so warm it’s just not refreshing. Living in Hilton Head I remember a Savannah radio station having some contest, and the Grand Prize was 1,000 lbs of ice for your community pool. It was wildly popular! The club where we lived in Sarasota had a geothermal pump for the community pool. It would warm the pool in the winter, but just as important it would cool the pool in the summer. Those were great times.

Agreed, kids need to be exposed to things in healthy ways. It’s not just allergies that seem rampant. Our family and friends include a bunch of kids on the autism spectrum that I just don’t remember from my earlier days. I’ve heard a bunch of theories, but have no ideas or agenda there. I just wish we could figure it out if we are doing something wrong.

He got into the playoffs with Tyrod Taylor at QB. I don’t want to hear he “backed in”. They were in the playoffs, look it up. The “backed in” crowd is just the haters looking for something to whine about. I don’t spend a lot of energy on this hater stuff. He would be on the market for about a minute before another team hired him. In case you haven’t noticed, the Chiefs are rather formidable. The rest of the league is letting them win Super Bowls, too.

It doesn’t anger me in the least. I don’t use the ignore feature, I’m pretty good at skimming over nonsense. The guy with the second most wins in the NFL over the last 5 years and the best winning percentage of any Bills coach ever does not suck. He may not have any Super Bowl trophies (yet), but he has the last four AFCE titles. If you think that sucks, your value here is just for the humor. Carry on.

I have one friend who is allergic to eggs, and they are hiding everywhere! Another friend got bit by a tick as an adult and is now allergic to red meat. He carries epis with him everywhere. At my kids middle school they have tables where nuts are always forbidden, and they made a huge deal of it. I don’t remember any of this when I was growing up. How much is because I was an ignorant kid, and how much of this is because we are doing things badly?
