  1. I don’t know if people are turning their noses up as much as they are just being practical.
  2. My wife had Firecracker, a hunter/jumper as a kid and the way I understand it, it’s a personal relationship and trust that develops between rider and horse. It’s one thing to be handed a strange horse to go trail riding, which the horse can do in its sleep. It’s something else to ask a stranger to have reliable control over the animals in new and stressful situations. I hope the regular equestrian events remain untouched. My wife has enjoyed that immensely this year. Side note: we went to Paris last spring and our guide on the trip to Versailles pointed out the stables nearby where the horses were to be based. Not your ordinary stables, according to this untrained eye. More like a Ritz for horses, but it smelled just like any other stable when we went by. My wife rolled the window down and took deep breaths! 😂 .
  3. I believe Aiyuk has already turned the Pats down, even thought they were willing to back up the Brinks truck. Apparently, being a Diva does not mean you are stupid.
  4. I would refrain from reminding all of the “one before I die” crowd that they are no longer allowed to whine. For a while.
  5. I don’t think a high school mentality will come into play here. There are a lot of other serious, grown up and financial factors that come into play. He’s under contract, on a good team and they will just keep rolling his deal over as needed. Just my opinion.
  6. So, we don’t suck? Other teams are going to be hot after our scraps, like we used to be at cutdown time. We have some spots I’d certainly like to improve, but I like our chances. That’s not quite how it works. He has a forever contract. It’s an exercise of gradually climbing the ladder as the tide rises and keeping the QB as “the bank of cap adjustments”. I love him too, he will be paid, and he will work with the team as needed for cap reasons.
  7. Josh is a great guy, and no dummy.
  8. I went to lunch one day at a place in Blowing Rock, NC last week because they had a Bills Mafia Pizza on the menu. They are not just in Sicily anymore.
  9. I am a sucker for a beautiful female tennis player. She’s got to be pretty fit, and there is a multiplier factor. Everyone has their thing, I suppose, and that is mine. I own it.
  10. You thinking of getting back in to shape???
  11. There is a an actual limit on void years, they are not forever. That is what I was responding to. They also need to be used judiciously.
  12. I’ve got a place by me (Padriacs for the locals) with a beef on weck in that range, and that’s fine with me. It’s NOT Schwabl’s, but it gets me my fix. It’s not too hard to make a pretty darn good version for yourself.
  13. No, they are not forever either, but they can help smart GM’s manage the situation better.
  14. Noise from an airport is fine, as long as they can only take off when the Browns are on defense. The Battery by the Braves stadium (sorry for mentioning it again) is perfectly situated at the intersection of I-75 and the Beltline around Atlanta. It lets a lot of people in and out easily. It’s a 3 mile trip for me, but people who live much farther out can get here easily. Unless the highway traffic comes to a halt, which has happened.
  15. Generally speaking, the bigger the area the bigger they can “think”. Green Bay is not small minded by not building a domed stadium surrounded by all kinds of stuff, they are practical. Can Cleveland pull it off? I don’t know. It’s great if it works out.
  16. Keeping it from getting too greasy is the challenge and the key to a great Reuben. Too much sauerkraut or Thousand Island dressing on the inside and you have a slippery mess on your hands, literally. Next question.
  17. He’s home at his desk, doing the math and watching sitcoms, I guess. .
  18. And yet, we have people right here among us who know pretty much everything! It’s amazing how blessed we are! This universe is a big place. What we don’t know is……..pretty much everything.
  19. I thought he’d be bigger.
  20. We’re always looking for DL depth!
  21. I’m curious, what would you call hellhound? I can’t think of anything.
  22. I really like what Morris can bring when he plays, but I’m curious to see Davidson. It seems we are leaning a little more toward being a bully these days. EDIT: And I don’t hate that. .
  23. Are their” innovative funding sources” just another way of saying “taxes”? Tell people it’s based upon the economic impact, because you can argue that until the end of time. Regardless, the key seems to be getting the proper public/private investment. I know nothing about that area, but my experiences with that type of development is that it is a year round destination, IF you can surround the stadium with the right stuff in a location easy for people to get too. No way on Earth can I see OP worthy of that investment, but downtown would have been cool. Oh well. As always, I’m just glad the Bills remain in WNY, and look forward to seeing our new home.
  24. Can we do recipes instead of nicknames?
