Yep, pretty obvious, it seems. Just because someone is on the market doesn’t mean they are a fit for us. People like to pine for names they know. They are not always the best fit for a variety of reasons.

I love a feel good story, I just hope he’s more than a one game flash in a pan. Keep doing it, young man! Nobody is rooting for him more than me! I’m going back to watch a miserable preseason game with a dozen points scored just to watch him. Equally hard to spell, just sayin’.

The flip side of him having a great game is he’s impossible to hide now. Somebody will give him a shot just based upon last night, so I don’t see the PS as a viable option. I hope he keeps it going and becomes one of those miracle dark horse stories you dream of….we could use some good luck.

1) My wife wanted to get me a new car, but I refused. My 10+ year old car is my “dog taxi” and it’s already dinged up with muddy back seats. I don’t want to have to worry about keeping it pristine. 2) He also wasn’t playing against the scrubs in the 4th quarter. He was playing against their 1’s and 2’s and making the calls. It’s certainly enough to make me very curious.

There is no scoreboard, but there IS an injury report.

But less action……

Very McD thing to do. Let them line up, then don’t waste the opportunity to prepare for that.

Is it OK if we watch the games anyway?

I have a friend who lost his sense of taste following treatment for throat cancer. He said it was absolute hell trying to consume enough calories on a regular basis. Fortunately, after a couple years he’s back to being somewhat normal. My Lebanese FIL lost his sense of taste after years of chemo. It was from him that I learned kibbi can be edible if you smother it in Texas Pete! (He passed away about 30 years ago, and as I was typing this a Whitney Houston song came on and my wife commented how he always had it playing in his hospital room - what are the odds?) Good luck to everybody!

Sometimes I like to think outside the box. It doesn’t seem to be catching on.

I see it as they are not quite as high on the Bills as they have been in previous years. We are still a top 5-7 team in most eyes, even in what could be a slightly down year. We have Josh, so I don’t think any reasonable people see our window as closed. I guess it’s a matter of perspective.

Are you trying to spice things up?

Because we will play in similar stadiums? It’s funny, I just sent a buddy the video of them trying to distribute beer at that place last year. They do this funny thing where they place the cup on something and it fills from the bottom up. Of course, when it’s full you still have a cup with a small hole in the bottom, and it will leak all over you. If you put your second beer cup inside your first, it buys you some time before it leaks on you. So at concessions they would fill one cup, ruining the bottom, then pour that beer into a cup that had not yet been perforated. But they foam up, so it’s happening at glacier speed. It was HYSTERICAL! (But very frustrating to spend half the 2nd quarter trying to get a beer.) The video is 27 seconds, and in that time 8 people behind the counter mange to crank out a whopping 5-6 beers. If our new stadium is like that, it will be torn down after the first preseason game! 😂

The last thing other than a game that I paid attention to on ESPN was Mike & Mike. They screwed that up, and I don’t like to listen to a bunch of people all talking in loud voices at the same time. I married into that, so I’m kind of sensitive to it. 😂 I prefer Dan Patrick’s formula, speak when it’s your turn to speak.

If he’s fired for cause you are probably off the hook for paying. If he’s not fired for cause, but you’re going to pay him the full amount, why not let him do the work? It just seems there is a piece missing here, but it’s none of my business.

Why lay someone off if you are going to pay him for the two years remaining on the contract? Is there something else up here?

When I finished reading this, I went right back to the top to understand what just happened. 😂 The cap is just a myth. It’s accounting nonsense, and I never liked accounting so I just ignore it. It’s worked OK so far. 🤷‍♂️ Edit; sarcasm can be lost on some. My bad. .

The Bills would definitely be an attractive landing spot for top candidates. No doubt in my mind. But remember, they are just like draft picks. Sometimes it works out, and sometimes it doesn’t. I think it’s becoming possible that my #1 reason that I want to win a Super Bowl would be to shut some haters and whiners up. Oh, and McD would have a new job in no time flat, despite being a “defensive HC”. Sure, he’s not been perfect, but I just don’t get the hate.

With whom? Where is this negative energy beside on this message board with a certain crowd? Saying it does not make it the truth. I think they are loose and ready to move on without the Diggs distraction. We lost a guy who could be a talented WR, but I’m not sure how much worse off we are without him.
