  1. Didn’t the ‘Bama QB make more than the Eagle’s QB a couple years ago? I’m not saying it’s right or wrong, just hard to get my head around.
  2. The more power he got, the more he messed it up. I’m just looking at the facts. He just kept getting worse. But tell yourself whatever helps you sleep.
  3. To each their own, and I understand your rationale. I just tend to be a bit claustrophobic and I’m up and down all game anyway.
  4. Yes, he and his dog were terrible GM’s. I’ll give him all the credit in the world for being one of the greatest defensive minds in NFL history. He’s also arrogant as hell and could have used some help with the draft instead of sending everyone home. To say a 6th round QB and not mention he was also the GOAT is hardly a fair and balanced approach.
  5. It’s not just that he couldn’t match the success. Because he’s a terrible GM and has no sense of offense, Belichick was a cellar dweller at the end. BTW - McD went to the playoffs with Tyrod Taylor at QB, so he’s not “just Josh.” .
  6. Lombardi was ~60 years ago, when passing was relatively rare and Payton was also bad with Brees. (I tend to think he’s a bit overrated.) But Tony Dungy had very competitive teams without Manning, unlike Belichick who is last in the division without Brady.
  7. Do stupid things, get stupid results. 🤷‍♂️
  8. I checked the Org chart, and it seems you are correct.
  9. I don’t think bragging like that is going to make @HOUSE feel better about his situation. Try to be sensitive, will you? Also, if you were thinking of posting your tax returns to rub it in deeper, that’s been used.
  10. Belichick being Belichick kept Belichick from getting another job. Nobody wants to put up with a rigid old defensive coach if they bring his baggage, He wears people out and he has no idea about offense without Brady. .
  11. That’s okay, it’s probably not high on his priority list. Belichick showed who he was without Brady, and he’s the one who wanted all the control. They might have a better roster if Belichick had let Nick Caserio build a team like he has in Houston, but Belichick thinks he’s smarter than everyone else. Well, that is on Belichick then. He’s the one who picked the OC’s, and he even put a DC in the role of OC. Brady was the magic on offense. I’ll give Belichick credit for having been a defensive genius, a guy who stole a SB from us because Kelly wouldn’t just keep handing the ball to Thurman. .
  12. What we bought was the right to keep an NFL football team. Championships are not a guaranteed part of the deal, but we can hope.
  13. @Chandler#81 I was reliving that on a text thread with two other Bills fans, one of whom was the guy at the restaurant with me that night. The other guy I’ve never met in person, but they are super close friends. The third guy had a similar experience watching in a restaurant on TV, until the whole thing rolled right past his restaurant in LA. Everyone there had been watching on TV then they realized where it was going. They all lined up against the windows as OJ rolled by right past them. That was a very cool one up. 😋
  14. I was in Boston with my wife and got together with an old friend for dinner with our wives. We were at some revolving rooftop restaurant of a hotel. We watched at their place before going out, then kept asking the waitress for updates. We ended up in the kitchen of this restaurant watching on a 10” TV. Surreal memory. It was one of those “where were you when?” situations.
  15. This is a good point. I have a buddy whose son was racing a kid in high school and caused an accident sending a family of 4 (with young kids) rolling multiple times in the median. Ugly story, and my friend learned the value of a good umbrella policy. Fortunately, an off-duty cop witnessed the accident and not the racing and confirmed the other kid had gotten off at that point. It was “only” stupid azz driving by a teenage boy.
  16. That did not work out very well for the Giants. I hate the “next up, raise the salary bar” concept. But I’ll make an exception in Miami’s case and suggest $65 Mil/year for the next decade or so. 😋
  17. That makes sense. This is not as haphazard as some people want to make it out to be.
  18. On the aisle? Do they cost extra? I’d pay a premium to be on the aisle vs the middle of the row.
  19. I don’t know if your math is right, but I know you asked the wrong question. Is that worth it to you? THAT is the question, and the answer here is obviously yes. .
  20. Congrats! I’m sure it stings a bit financially, but it should feel great to get it figured out and have your new spot.
  21. I don’t disagree, but either way they were going to lose. That’s just how it works. Someone will find a way……. 🤷‍♂️
  22. I’m torn between the wheel and ice cream sandwiches.
  23. Up 4 shots with 2 to go. What would $100 get you if he lost??? 😂
