  1. That is all I’m saying, and yet I get all kinds of pushback. I think it is mostly from people who were fixated on the first and more sensational version of the video.
  2. Let us start with this: it is not your place to tell me what’s in my mind. Adams is wrong. That has been conceded by virtually everyone, I think. They BOTH NEED TO BE AWARE OF THIER SURROUNDINGS. Adams is guilty, as is the other guy involved. Not nearly as guilty as a shove by any means, but he should also be aware of his surroundings. This has a parking lot accident feeling to it. Someone will pay, but it’s really not a huge deal. Nor should it be. I’m really not being a jerk here, I just know that some people are acting like this was an attack without context. They saw the first video and made a decision how they felt, while the second video looked like a different incident. If you think this is about protecting the “important guy” over the “hired help”, you don’t know me and that is not the way I see the world. That couldn’t be more wrong. .
  3. Wish her well, hope this is shut down until we have something real. I don’t see a need for 500 pages of nothing. I would like to respect their wishes. EDIT: But who am I? 😂 . .
  4. As I’ve said COUNTLESS times, I agree! ADAMS WAS WRONG! He was the MOST AND OVERWHELMINGLY WRONG. I’m just saying camera guy is not like someone who was just sitting there minding his own business and got attacked. Stepping in front of a football team coming off the field is very avoidable. He helped to create this by putting himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Brain fart? New on the job? I don’t know. If that is a city street, Adams has the right of way. Camera guy screwed up, and Adams very badly overreacted. .
  5. I hope they are eliminated long before then. Karma is a…………ya know? Wouldn’t it be awesome if they lost a top 5 draft pick for their dirty shenanigans?
  6. They will be very disappointed to learn that the league has a few changes in the name of safety. In addition to no longer being allowed to tackle a QB unless you gently settle him into a down mattress, the OT rules have been changed for the playoffs. If, after one OT session you are still tied, the winner will be determined by a ping pong playoff between team captains. That C on the jersey just became more important.
  7. Indeed, so everyone needs to be smart. I’m not sure if you are talking about AJ or Adams, but the ref made an ill-advised move touching Epenesa from behind during a melee and the camera guy should not jump out in front of a player coming off the field in that situation. [Edit- I’d love to know what Epenesa said, so maybe he deserved ejection.] I hate refs that try to make it about them. If done properly, they are nearly invisible. Same goes with the camera guy. We are not there for YOU, so stay out of the way. I won’t be too hard on him, as it seems to have been inadvertent, but he helped create that situation by making a poor decision. That is why you look both ways before crossing the road. Quite simple. .
  8. I once had a girl Or should I say she once had me She showed me her room Isn't it good Norwegian wood?
  9. Could be. I’m not trying to let Adams off and blame the camera guy, but his lack of awareness was part of the problem here. I just don’t understand how some people don’t get that.
  10. I would describe it as bearing some responsibility. The shove was over the top/uncalled for, but this guy is either a jerk or just terrible at his job. This incident would not have happened if he didn’t dart out in front of Adams. I just want to know why he did that. What was he thinking? Did he not see Adams? Accidents happen, I suppose. Unfortunate all around. Regardless, if you judge this incident only by the clip at the top of the thread, you will be misled. The first view made it look like he was just standing there, and that was NOT the case. .
  11. THIS view is much different, and I believe more telling of what really happened. The initial view at the top of the thread is more sensational, but this is more informative.
  12. It’s NOT that complicated. I want to know if @KDIGGZ denies that the guy inexplicably got in front of Adams for some reason. He’s quick with the thumbs down, but radio silent from what I’ve seen on explaining this. I’m NOT absolving Adams, AT ALL, I’m just saying it was a bad move by camera guy. Very simple. If my own son did the same thing, I’d be upset with the shove, and I’d also ask my son “WTF were you thinking?” .
  13. I can think of a guy with a 4.7 career ypc…..and he’s on our roster.
  14. I’ll take one more shot at this. Adams was wrong. We all agree. WHY DID THE GUY RUN IN FRONT OF HIM? It’s a simple question. Why did he do it? It made no sense, and the camera gear guy did something he should not have done. Period. It’s possible for two people to be wrong in different ways to different degrees. Simple fact.
  15. I’ve heard quite a few people who know him or know people who do say he’s actually a good guy. Never any troubles, no history of anything like this. It’s unfortunate for everyone, because he made a boneheaded move for which he apologized. It will come at some cost to him, which is fair.
  16. A) I watched it. Both known views. He moved in front of him. It’s not what I think, it’s what I watched. B) I never said I would level anyone. Get it right, for a change. I said it’s unwise to startle someone, especially a professional athlete coming out of a heated moment. You never know what you might get. Pay attention. You don’t get to make up your own “facts”. C) You are tiresome, and not nearly as sharp as you think you are. Have a nice day.
  17. Exactly. Was that his plan before jumping in front of Adams? Was this premeditated, or did it just morph into a payday scheme after he found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time?
  18. He jumped IN FRONT of him! NOT out of the way. Watch the view from behind. He was the ONLY one to jump in a players path. Strange hill indeed. EDIT: From what I keep hearing and reading, he’s not even there to take photos. He was just carrying gear. Again, the shove was wrong, but WTF was this guy trying to do? .
  19. Close the ice rinks! It’s SO weird that I find myself defending this position! Life is dangerous. Adams was wrong, but maybe someone with an ounce of common sense doesn’t jump out in front of him in that situation. Stuff happens, but let’s not act like it was a disaster when it wasn’t. I have a nephew who killed a guy driving drunk many years ago. I also have friends (and regrettably maybe myself in my youth) who also drove drunk. My nephew spent many years in prison, because the guy died. The rest of us got away with fender benders, or less. Little harm, little foul. You can trip on a curb, hit your head and die. It happens. This was a shove in a bad situation. Regrettable for both parties, IMO. .
  20. Some are making it out like falling down is like skydiving without a parachute. That happened daily in the halls of middle school. That does NOT make it right, but my wife fell down a flight of stairs a week before the first born was due. The human body generally does fine. It’s only a big deal if it doesn’t. The “threat” of harm is worth much less than “actual” harm. Both are bad, let’s just put them on the right place on the spectrum.
  21. Actually, I went back and checked. It was work place “violation”, and it was a joke.
  22. If you have seen both angles you should realize that is simply not true. The guy went out in front of a player coming off the field after a rough loss. I’m still waiting for video that starts a couple seconds sooner, or from a different angle. WTF happened? WHY was he there in the first place? Like the AJ Epenesa expulsion, don’t startle a worked up guy in his workplace. Adams HAS admitted and is facing what is due. Camera guy needs to get real.
  23. I don’t mean to be a jerk here, and I’ll catch it for this, but we had never even HEARD of a seatbelt growing up. Falling down is only a big deal if a big deal results. This SHOULD be a non-event.
  24. Actually, from several reports I’ve heard he is regarded as a very nice guy. I heard there was no history of trouble or being a DBag. It was the wrong time, wrong place. I’d hope I’d know enough not to be on either end of that. I don’t care if it’s 97% to 3%, both share in what went down.
  25. It sounds like a bad thing in the workplace. I mean, from what others have told me…… EDIT: I have no idea what that means. Is there some “ticket level” of event? Like jaywalking? P.S. - Has anyone explained why that guy jumped out? Adams had ZERO business shoving him like that, but WTF was camera guy thinking? I wish a clip would surface that starts earlier. .
