  1. Is Jeudys big arse game glaring evidence that he's lazy in practice/film room? Tough to say. Knee jerk recreation is "yes", why did he suddenly seemingly flip the light switch, in response to some artificial motivation??? ***Jameis Winston is the NFLs Nate Diaz*** G-dangit Winston played the most Winstony game ever. I was sitting pretty at +7, down by 2, needing a smart mistake free drive.... thinking Winston already got his dumb play outta the way..... nopeeeee lol
  2. For sure. My question is who is voting for him? Not trying to be a jerk, especially as a pitt fan, but buffalo fans have seemingly been "irritated" at the exposure last year. That exposure has died down... and while he's been a serviceable vet for us, I don't think he's blown away any fans here. I'd imagine most other fans are a little sick of the story as well (I don't necessarily agree but also get it)..... soooooo this leaves like Facebook moms voting for him lol do they have really have that much of a push? They must because I'd venture to say only the most casual fans visit nfl.com. not hyperbole, I doubt I know one fan who's punched that in their browser more than 1-2xs a year. Tl:dr. Weird rant lol
  3. Way too early of a start to my Monday to be up more than a minute past last whistle. Anybody have a link for these? Sounds fun
  4. That's what happens when you *correctly* draft high end fatboys on both sides of the line. SEC heavy. And go back to that drinking well multiple times per draft! I'm a huge fan of how Roseman constructed that roster!
  5. Random Josh Related Post not worthy of a thread: I went back to watch Josh s first episode on Pardon My Take, from around the Combine. He's the semi goofy, smiley kid we all know, but you could really see such a huge evolution of his confidence since then. It's a different human being now all together, very sharpened polished human. I forgot what his draft and rookie season vibes felt like.
  6. I wish I had more to say but that was a highly enjoyable read! He does get a bad rap but i don't blame him one bit, and sincerely wanted him so bad. Through the lense of Josh, wanting Bradford is funny in retrospect.... but at the time kid was the project I hoped we could fix. He had a spark but injuries didn't help. Great college qb, not cut out as a starting nfl qb.... no shade from me lol Dude seemed like he wanted to really make it happen, but just wasn't cracked out to be top 32 in the world. Even "bums" at the bottom of a roster were likely good in college and *elite* in HS. Wish I'd seen his college days though
  7. It's actually insane they haven't found a solid coach or gm by accident at this point. They need to fade their own picks
  8. The evil firefighters in revers video is an all timer
  9. This is the right answer. Watson had sucked but he fooled one team. Bradford was the last qb to get that unadjusted #1 overall $$$.... held out as a rookie. Then convinced like 7 more teams lol it was insane. And my dumb*** was so qb thirsty I woulda gave my left nut to rent him for a year 🤣🤣 My golly please never let us back there. blue grapefruit engorged testicled man, at the fat bar. It's closing time, and Bradford looks like wife material....QB. Thirsty. It's amazing to no longer be in that bar 🤣🤣🤣
  10. Yooooo 🤣🤣🤣🤣 that'd be amazing and all parties are dumb enough. Fantasy scenario: they gut the house eat all that dead cap they possibly can.... hire Rex. Rex coaches his ass off with The Replacements! Go 9-8 finish 1 game out of wildcard!!! "You gotta give a guy like that patience" 4 more years of Rex putting in work in the film room that'd make Jamarcus Russell himself bluff! Gunna. Crumbbbbb! Please football gods
  11. Article has his at 79.1%. I get similar looking #'s, but 79% and 90% feels like ocean's apart
  12. this seems like a myth thing from fans. sure you might hold onto a few plays, but refusing to scheme up a player on a pretty hefty contract, in hopes of unleashing in playoffs is silly. first, were not the staff to jump in and trust someone like that without earning that trust first, and knox has had almost no targets this year. secondly, what an absolute waste of resources to keep it under wraps for a full 17game season, not to mention, getting a specific package open on tape, can help open up other things by keeping a defense honest.
  13. McD, Beane, and Babich get 100% benefit of the doubt. Sure Elam, but Benford, and isht happens. Hopefully everyone is very patient with seeing what Bernard has done.
  14. Part of me wonders if it was due to not being flexible at what position he plays. Obv thats a high trait for Kromer, and it shows with the rest of that group... and at the same time, having a guy who's skillset goes deep instead of wide raises a players floor and ceiling. Side note: great way to make yourself indisposable (stupid this word isnt in dictionary) in your 9-5 career too
  15. Dudes a douche, but crying about it 9 years later is equally lame. Let it go, high school levels of petty
  16. Watch college. (NFL = Bills only) ....SOLVED
  17. Good. We're thin right now, in good shape in the division and you get a chance to see if dudes worth keeping around. At this point he needs to be up to the task of filling in when several injuries happen ahead of him. If he can't be salvageable as a callup at WR5, he's wasting a roster spot. The flip side is this is the way you win yourself into the McD ring of honor. Earn your salt and you'll get every chance to keep your playing time as he gets more
  18. Whoa guys, this guy has to be smarter than all of us because he knows some cInNaMon for the word old lol
  19. Absolute denial if you think Poyer isnt a future wall of famer. Dude was piece #1 and spearhead of a dramatic culture change, that has lead to more wins than ever before. If you think him returning on a team friendly 1 year deal, at 32 years old, and having a down year, you're insane or wilfully ignorant. Poyer/Hyde are the first 2 new names up in the new stadium, you being upset that he signed a sundowner deal in teal will have 0 implication on what he did on the field, locker room, and community of Buffalo. Gutless, short sighted take.
  20. I dont think you can go back to back timeouts.... anybody else know? Couldve sworn its a no
  21. Depends on the time frame youre looking at. In the moment I HATED IT, AS DID LIKELY EVERYONE ELSE ON EARTH. Had he missed it I dont know my train of thought ever gets here: but on a longer timeframe, I get the logic in trying it.... he hit a 49 and 40 I believe, while missing 1, almost 2 PAT's..... so he was having a hot (for him) & cold game. In the moment, youre thinking a hail mary is low %, lower than the low % that he hits it..... you might be thinking OT doesnt scare the hell outta me... and that even if he misses, its not his fault he missed from 61, so hes scapegoat proof on it. I'd like to think this was a calculated risk at giving him low risk/high reward chance at confidence booster LETS HOPE IT WORKS
  22. I sincerely appreciate what youre trying to do here, but this is all part of an incompetent league. Dawkins got a penalty earlier this year for finishing a block into the ground (which is taught as great lineman play, and Ive never seen flagged). Dawkins being a smart player remembered that, and tried a more gentle approach to keep dude out of pursuit..... absolutely stupid, but im more angry about my first point, but thats what I saw Second again was inconsequential to the plays result, you can hold inside the shoulder pads..... i get he shouldve let go a fraction of a second earlier, but he played this by the spirit of the rules, as it was brief in slow mo The refs can and do choose when to call penalties. I mean this with all honesty, the league has been unwatchable all year due to refs. This is not hyperbole, every game is devoid of momenntum, half of all good plays are called back it feels like. Saturdays used to be my keep busy with wife day (minus Pitt games), Sunday was sacred for NFL. After about week 3 i flipped it with her. Saturday is college all day, Sunday is Bills I have no interest in turning anything on before or after....... if its on TV, we're bored and half doing other stuff.
  23. We sound like brats who are mad at Toys-R-Us because we tried bringing our PS5 in the bathtub. Cry we dont get big ticket items. Cry when Von Miller ACL completely kills 18months of his career... dude was playing good ball before his 4 games off. Dont climb back on bandwagon when he helps us make a SB push in playoffs finally
  24. Do we think Drew is credible in this sense? As in, are we sure Fins arent shopping Tyreek or someone, and hes leveraging himself for another bite at the apple on next team extending him by acting like this? I dont believe this report (not saying its Tyreek spec), and I dont believe Rosenhaus to say anything that doesnt frame himsself into the best chance at getting paid
  25. This is so incredibly weak and a cowardly take. We watched this dude crunch everybody like this for 6 years, legit wall of fame potential for what he's done for this city.... and the second you see it the other way you're throwing low balls like this? Dude at end of his career and its obvious to everyone but "cheap shots only way to stay relevant" is horse crap. Poyer hit to dislodge, did not target, they hit helmets, but so wussy to act like he tried to spear or lower his head. I would seriously question someone loyalty in real life if I heard a friend say this crap. Pure crap! The injury sucks, it's football. We can't whine ohhh the league is flag football, immortalize a guy for doing anything to win here (like he tried here), and then cry when our guy gets hurt---playing football. Wwwweeeeeaaaaakkkkk. Emotional. Take.
