  1. I agree he was getting released regardless. Probably when we resigned Dareus it was done because we need the money to resign our own this offseason. The only way he stayed was if he restructured and he would of had to play exponentially better to entertain that on managements end. This was a no brainer! I don't like Rex or believe in him. But, this isn't on Rex let alone a nsil in his coffin. I would say this is great for the Bills, but, it was coming and necessary. I would of been shocked if he was on our team next year.
  2. LMAO Agreed he is not. But, if he did that is $13.75 M against the cap and say $5 M for Forte. So, cut Mckelvin, Mario, Graham and many others. Don't resign Glenn, get a hack to play LT and devastate the Oline and fill the roster with many undrafted FAs. Thusly, probably finishing 5-11 or 6-10. Rex gets fired. Whaley gets fired. 3 year rebuild. Lose our talent in their prime. That's what happens if we cut Shady.
  3. Beatty could be worth a shot depending on price. We need to be thrify with the vets e bring in. Thfifty being good price, value and results. Beatty could compete for or start at RT and/or seing tackle.
  4. Agreed, well said. So many RB injuries this year. Also to confirm that Fantasy Football was turned upside the most in this Century because RB injuries.
  5. I said mid round draft pick. But, that was just to play along. I think there is a 1% chance they cut him and zero reason to cut him between his talent, possible small suspension, the cap hit would be crippling and would screw us for this year and affect years to come, you would have to replace him, etc. There is no reason to cut him. Even if he killed someone and would never play again I wouldn't cut him this year.
  6. Cam maybe didn't exactly say he wussed out. But, he knows he did. And, let's say he doesn't know most people and his teammates do know he wussed out. And, he wussed out in the biggest game of his life when he needed to be tough when it mattered most.
  7. I would say debatable. My initial thought is no. But, he did borderline dominate his generation for about 5 years. It will be a good conversation and some close votes. This will really hurt Stafford. Probably Tate. And, most likely send Detroit to the bottom of the division for a while. On another note and what crushed Detroit is having so many top 3-5 picks under the old CBA. Just terrible timing and did them no justice or at least shrunk their window of opportunity by a lot! Terrible timing!!
  8. I don't have much to beef about Cam. But, I do respect true leaders for giving praise to others and taking blame themselves. Instead of blaming others and taking the praise. Also, when you celebrate as hard as Cam does you need take losing with more grace OR be more humble when winning I think he can and will learn this. And, if he doesn't he is still a great player, but, maybe not a great leader. And, I still wish he was our QB regardless.
  9. Well played And, what about Brady's appeal? The system is a joke to suspend players a year after an incident. Edit: I get when they are compiling information or waiting on the law, but, sometimes it's for no reason. Is that because they always issues suspensions to begin a season? That doesn't include drugs? Is there a structure? Funny It's a valid point in a perfect world. However, if people think cops or anyone is shady (pun intended) bouncers surely are!! Chip wanted to dump the contract. Then signed two RBs to replace him at more money than Shady? Brilliant! Yada, yada, yada... Chip got fired.
  10. So, you are a big Cam fan. Which is fine. I just hope he learns from this season. For the most part I like Cam too. But, he does talk out of both sides of his mouth, acts like a child and needs to think before he reacts and talks. Otherwise situations will arise and hinder him in the long run. One that comes to mind that was silly and childish was when Cam took a sign from a fan during a game and then afterwards said its unacceptable to have signs for the other team in his house? Really?
  11. I didn't see this here. Sorry if I missed it. I know I saw bits and pieces of it. But, slightly different version. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/25478579/cam-newton-explains-why-he-didnt-dive-on-the-fumble-late-in-super-bowl-50
  12. I stopped reading when you said the Pro Bowl exposed TT's game.
  13. I totally agree with your opinion on this situation. I think it will work out for the Bills real well. I would also add a scenario which can be lumped in with scenario #3. TT gets hurt. That leaves the Bills again in the unknown area. Agreed
  14. Better ideas than what is going on. I haven't watched a Oro Biwl game this Century. I would tune in for Dodgeball and I am not even kidding.
  15. I agree. But, they can't really address the position with much money or cap space based on money already sunk into the position. Tough situation! Probably need to get bargain deals and a draft pick for a contingency plan. Hedge the bet if you will.
  16. It's a big concern that unfortunately won't be answered till TC. I hope he is OK for himself and the Bills!
  17. I hope so too. But, IMO Rex's ego is way too big to think he isn't doing it right OR he wants to prove his way is the right way. So, probably not taking notes.
  18. I enjoyed it a lot as well. Tight defense is enjoyable. We really don't need mega offense to make it interesting.
  19. I think this may be a couple steps too soon. Sentenced for a bar fight? Did someone die?
