Possible. It can also suggest his schemes are out dated, figured out how to attack them or the game has started to pass him by OR a combo of everything. I hope it was an aberration.

A few thoughts on yours... 1. MOST of the time anyone in a bar fight could of stopped it. Everyone is probably slightly responsible. 2. You said you will hold your tongue before judging Shady....then judged the cops. Sort of funny. 3. I agree Shady is a prima dona and a very good RB.

On your first point, agree to disagree, I have never heard anyone say the HoF is for famous people. Just don't believe that or there would be different standards to get in? Secondly, I am not against him getting in. Just don't have a final opinion on Warner. Lastly, a question... I thought Warner lost his starting job in St. Louis before they parted ways? I also believe he lost his job with the Giants before they planned to start Eli (prematurely than the teams plan, imo) because Warner was playing poorly. Those were the two times I believed he was a backup.

Agreed. But, IMO it isn't IF they part ways. Maybe Denver could of played better on defense if they didn't try to get to the QB and instead trick them by dropping into coverage. Maybe that way they could have got a shutout? Sort of like trying to improve a #4 defense to #1?

I lean that way too. Less is more for these elite clubs. Otherwise, they aren't elite. I agree with you on DeBartolo, Harrison and Favre. I don't think Dungy should be in, but, don't have a strong opinion on it. I don't think Warner should be in either. Greene probably not. TO will get in and should. Agree The tough part I have with Warner is he was a backup on multiple teams. How is that elite or HOF worthy? Disagree. The two have some similarities. But, you can't compare them.

I can't disagree with any of that. Well said. I hope and think he will continue to grow. But, if he doesn't he still is a great player. It is very rare for a player in any sport to be an amazing ambassador of their sport. I can only think of two. Gretzky and Peyton.

I find your comments odd and unwarranted. The SB was one game against a great defense. Cam Newton is a great player! I do think he has maturity and ego issues though.
