  1. How do you feel about this situation?
  2. Maybe they are visiting it because they are struggling coming to terms with Gilmore long term? And, they will need to use the TAG on Gilmore? And, cant use it on Gilmore and TT next offseadon. Pure speculation, but, it seems a variable in the thought process has changed.
  3. There is a lot to hate until he wins or shuts his mouth!! Ya, he catches himself in his own lies. Nothing scarier than a dumb man who thinks he is smarter than everyone.
  4. What a man child! And, excuse maker. We are all not dumb enough to believe his lies. Just shut up and fix it!!
  5. Not true. I wouldn't want Harvin for any reason at all or anything.
  6. I agree he has not filled the #2 roll. But could. But, can't be counted on to fill that roll and need another legitimate #2 option on the roster.
  7. I agree! I think Woods could be a #2, but, we MUST have another option. I used to support Goodwin, but, I think we should be done with him. I used to think Hogan was borderline, but, he is reliable and should be #4 or #5 on the roster. The only downside I see to Hogan is the contract. And, the amount of RFAs we have. Many of the RFAs IMO are more valuable. So, I would determine it based on how the RFA chips fall. We need Wynn, Charles and Rambo for sure. And, they could be more than we hope contract wise. Edit : Tough decisions coming up. I Billieve the FO will make the right decisions.
  8. I believe Klos63 is suggesting you draft the replacement a year, two or three prior to replacing the starter. And, that you are confident, based on NFL success in practice or game, that they can assume the starter role. Not roll the dice on the same draft hoping they can fill the spot. Which I agree replacements need to be proactive.
  9. IMO, you TAG Cordy to retain him. Not to get two draft picks. If we lose Cordy we will be challenged to make the playoffs. Making the playoffs is the goal not to rebuild with draft picks.
  10. I have a feeling that for a while, possible, years he hadn't wanted to play. And, just does enough to get paid and sign new contracts. JMO. So, I don't care how modest the contract I don't think he wants to play and I don't want him taking up a roster spot or taking up the staffs time.
  11. No, I don't believe Easley is any answer at safety. Back up or not.
  12. IMO he will be franchised. Then he won't hit the open market. Then will want a pay day instead of playing on a one year contract. Then will take approx. $30 M guaranteed and resign. The leverage Glenn could gain will never be had. The Bills will stay on control of the situation.
  13. Agree 100% with everything above. If we find a trade partner it is all gravy, but, there is a slim possibility.
  14. I think it is very important to resign Gilmore now rather than during the season. This is because we can TAG him next year, but, we can't TAG Gilmore and TT. So, the better TT is playing next year the more we lose leverage with Gilmore OR TT or both. We can't TAG both. We don't want to resign TT now, as the FO has said and I agree with. So, I predict and hope the FO knows this. Thusly, we need to resign Gilmore now. Signing Gilmore now also helps our cap situation for this year and resigning our guys this offseason. IMO Gilmore will be resigned this offseason and hopefully sooner than later so we can use the cap flexibility. Edit: Go Bills!! I BILLieve!!
  15. Like when we moved Kelsay to LB? I am sure it wouldn't be that bad. But, not good.
  16. I think Chandler will be released.
  17. Well played!!
  18. I do NOT disagree with you about the downside to the Bills. I would like to put off restructuring Clay if we can and I think we can and think we should. Maybe I didn't explain myself well. I was referring there is no downside to Clay to restructure. I was only referencing the portion of your post that said you have to get Clay to agree to a restructure and believe there is no downside for Clay to restructure. Please don't argue for the sake of arguing. Too many people on this board do! Also, please read the posts before answering. And, don't jump in with rage ready to answer angry. Enough people here do already.
  19. Maybe you don't understand some restructures? Clay will not get any less money, just more money ASAP instead of down the road. Who wouldn't want that? For many reasons it's a great idea with no down side. So, when you try to argue people may listen more if you dont reach for your arguments or talk about what you may or may not understand. There is NO reason Clay wouldn't restructure. And, it was probably discussed last year when he negotiated the contract.
  20. Oh, my bad. That is the TAG I thought I was referring to. Agreed
  21. Ok. Thanks for explaining because I didn't get the correlation at all. Now after understanding your first paragraph I totally agree with all 3.
  22. He is clinically diagnosed bipolar.
  23. I agree on Winfield. CBs don't excel when they are tackling CBs. Have that many tackles as a CB is poor play.
