  1. Yep and yep I agree with you on the 2nd and 3rd paragraph. But, was there ANY need for the first? It has no relevance to the thread or anything it? I totally agree. There really isn't a benefit to cutting Urbik. Just downside. By the time you replace the back up centre and pay him...maybe you save $500 K tops! You know Urbik can play centre and guard. IMO anyone who says cut him doesn't realize that $1.75 M is not a net savings and probably also a down grade at the position. It's like saying if we only had 47 players on our 53 we can save cap space!?
  2. Some valid points. However, remember cutting the kicker and back up centre need to be replaced. At those replacements count against the cap.
  3. I guess it depends on how important you think he is. I think he is very important and think the team dies too. If not, two first round picks for him is interesting.
  4. I am not set on Harrison, but, lean towards him being the best fit. We do need a NT and FA is a good value salary for them usually. IMO we will sign a good one.
  5. Yes Weo does that. For example, when he said it was ridiculous to think Manning and Broncos can win the SB. Edit: and the supported it with out of context stats
  6. Agree on all points Agreed. If possible. But, should work out. Rex and the Bills nee two CBs. Gilmore is staying.
  7. Agree on your opinions on the first three exactly. Disagree with McNabb. I don't see the argument why he should be in. But, open to listen. But, that argument IF it gets any legs is at least 5 years away from being real. Kreutz....interesting. I can see that possibility. But, it will probably if ever be a more serious conversation in 3-5 years. Kreutz is tough because he was much above average for over 10 years. Which is impressive, but, is it anything more than that? I feel like that player compares to Tim Brown or Kevin Greene...are they really HOFers?
  8. Agreed
  9. I think the Jags are one year away. I hope this is our year!! But, the Jags have built there team the right way. Their poor Oline play is coaching...bahahaaaha
  10. Agreed
  11. I agree. I think the dictator of where we will be moving forward and how good the Bills are with the cap will be... If we can get through the offseason withOUT restructuring Clay. By not doing it this offseason and instead next off season I believe is $3 a year for the rest of his deal. If we scoot through this year without doing it will free up flexibility moving forward and having a buffer for ideally resigning TT if he earns that deal after this season...which would be ideal. The longer we go without restructuring Clay the better. It's one of our safety nets.
  12. Agreed. Love Mayock!! I believe he is stating an opinion which is fine. As nobody I know can predict the future. It will be tough to cite evidence on predicting the future. Would you prefer if he used IMO? Do you prefer being a lawyer, English teacher or just being a Bills fan on a Bills board?
  13. I vote none of the above. I think we need a ML and Safety to help run this offense and that is too much for a rookie to ask. So, I think we pick up the right fit at LB and S in FA for the right price. I think our first 3 picks will be WR, RT and Dline in no particular order. But, very confident we don't go WR in the first round. Probably 2nd.
  14. I was reading this looking for how long it would take to pop up. Second blog! AWESOME!
  15. Good thought
  16. Agreed and agreed
  17. You have LB, Dline, RT as options twice. I believe this exercise will be easier after FA.
  18. Agreed and agreed. Glenn is much better than Kalil. I don't see any scenario Kalil is here since someone desperate will pay him big money. We can't afford him. And, he would play RT too for that big cash.
  19. It doesn't work...Rex always makes promises! ************** Feel the excitement and things like that! **************
  20. IMO the highest paid player needs to play like the highest paid player. Or at least close to the the best player. QB or not. In any sport. Or the money needs to be spent elsewhere.
  21. Good run for Forte!! That's a solid 8 years.
  22. I will watch it from home or at a close friend or family members. Keep it quite and stay away from potential jerks when my emotions are running high. I have been out for big sporting events and random people with too much booze can ruin the great game!!
