  1. IMO having the 13th best odds is the odds makers giving us a little respect or at least right where we should be.
  2. Why 2034? Edit: never mind, I saw I missed the answer.
  3. RIP. Stay strong Tony! So fast and sad!
  4. Nice, thanks! It's still just as funny too!!
  5. Ok, so, flip it around. If Rex isn't needed why did he go last year?
  6. Disagree. I don't think Rex was there because his players were. JMO.
  7. Odd, interesting.....ya, it really shows where we are all at with frustration, I think?! Sully does suck and brings nothing to the table. But, my comments above place this on Rex being Rex unless it was a team directive and initiative. I would agree with you. My thoughts are the inconsistent product on the field on a weekly basis is what leads me to the inconsistent preparation and work habits. Also, how much HOF HC say they work. 7 days a week and 48 weeks a year. Rex's time in the media not at work alone leads me to believe he doesn't put in the time that it takes to be great in this league. These thoughts all make me question as you said, "behind the scenes work habits, film study practices, and game planning efforts of Rex and his coaching staffs".
  8. As I stated it is based on...IMO (in my opinion) on how has has conducted himself as a HC over 7 seasons. 7 seasons is a lot to develop an opinion and a good pool of past events. I agree Rex needs to recharge himself. But, he also has to manage himself and team while doing so. And, that includes, choosing when it is best for the team to take a week off and recharge. This is not the week in my opinion. For example, my previous job was managing retail hours (essentially), so, Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July and other large Holidays were probably 10-15 % of my pay (commission for the year) AND my peoples. So, I didn't take those off because it would effect mine and my team's performance and consequently mine and their pay. I thought it was very important to be there and would have been lacking leadership by being absent. I took time off other times of the year to recharge. It is part of managing a business and yourself. Unless this was a team plan or directive I am beside myself of his decision.
  9. I agree with that also. As i said above, if this is the team plan and directive it is probably a good plan. If it isn't, we will hear about it in 9 to 12 months and see some clear issues.
  10. I think very highly of Whaley and the staff. But, Rex going to the Senior Bowl can be nothing but helpful. He should be there. Even if it just helps a little it still helps. More eyes and ears always help.
  11. I think everyone frustrated with Sully should be frustrated with Rex. The FACT is he is in Hawaii and not at the Senior Bowl. I hate this unless the team sent Rex for a purpose to the Pro Bowl. It is my understanding a HC in the NFL is about a 7 day, 48 week job a year. This isn't the week to take off!! This also plays into my thoughts on Rex not always preparing enough. For example, approx. half the weeks this year we were ill prepared for our weekly game planning. Imo Rex is is too self centered, selfish, too big an ego, lazy, not dedicated and more concerned with being a celebrity than a above average coach. Sully can be terrible, but, I think he is much closer to right than wrong in this article.
  12. If most of these players sign for these projected numbers OUR cap will be in better shape than most teams. Also, we have done a good job managing our contracts in the Whaley era before AND after seeing this! Go Bills!! Ya, Reed or Kelce would be great as a 2nd TE at $10/year? $20/year for two TEs (one being Clay)? Sorry to burst your bubble, its just not plausible. I saw Glenn...they said TAG for more time to work deal. Then 5 for $55.
  13. The Chefs was my favourite ESPN commercial ever. That must have been 1998 or 99?
  14. Exactly, well said! Wow! The Martz is Rex comparison is nuts on!! Never drew the comparison till it was mentioned.
  15. Good info.... thanks! You can blame Whaley. But, hitting on Oline picks or,any pick is not a science, so, when you do hit on one like Glenn....resign him!! Yep!!!
  16. No point in guessing till after next year because it will be too hard till you see it
  17. True or could and should have an out clause for kidney failure.
  18. Agreed Agreed
  19. That would be extreme comparables! I say ink it, it can only go higher. LT is not a want it is a need. And, Cordy is great. The only knock is no Pro Bowls or All Pros. But, his play is similar to those who are. In Buffalo we have needed a QB and LT for the century. We have one and may have two. Let's lock up the LT.
  20. I think TT appreciates the opportunity and all of this situation was talked about when he signed here. Did the Seahawks and Russell Wilson end badly? Wilson was making less than TT. Did the Bengals and Dalton end poorly? Dalton was making less than TT. Well said
  21. Imo or my guess I feel like Crossman doesn't like the boys to return kicks and punts. Does anyone know the % of them returned vs fair caught or kneeled in the last three years vs the previous year or two? If I am right we just need a punt catcher like Wade had in Watson. Lmao I also agree and realize it's not happening. Crossman vs Rob Ryan in who has the most seasons in the bottom 5 of the League at their roles. I think they are both over 10 years! Which is amazing how if someone performs like that as a DC or ST coach they usually don't stick around that long. How do they have this Teflon? And, why are we only breaking dubious records?
  22. I think Meeks for sure. Duke probably is done too. I agree. Graham is an asset. I could see it working for him and us for a pay cut or restructure.
  23. I would prefer to keep Graham over McKelvin. I think both would take a pay cut.
