  1. I was a sophomore in HS @ HF-L. The next day at school everyone was severely bummed. Walking around in a daze with thousand-yard stares. There was no sun. It was seriously depressing. I'm sorry, my writing style makes everything sound funny, but it wasn't. It sucked.
  2. I love that he mentions the crown of the field. I remember sitting low in the 80s and 90s and barely being able to set the other side of the field because its so pronounced. Is it still like that? or have they flattened it out some?
  3. I love Al. He put out a book a few years ago titled, "You Can't Make this Up" about his life and career. Great read! https://www.amazon.com/You-Cant-Make-This-Television/dp/0062314971
  4. Dropping passes is what happens when you're sleepy.
  5. Week 4 of 2021 - Bills 40, Texans ZERO https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/202110030buf.htm
  6. There's some teams missing - where are the Giants and Eagles? Did they have zero? Are we not the best??
  7. Left Bank was fantastic - but I haven't lived there in 20 years
  8. We asked my dad about it and he remembers it vividly, because he's also a Dodger fan: "I remember it well. Watched it at home. I had the Bills game on the big TV and the Dodgers/Astros game on the small TV, in the great room. The LAD game had post season implications, as they needed to win to force a divisional play-off. Believe it or not, Haslett’s INT occurred almost EXACTLY the same time as when Ron Cey hit a 2 run HR (Garvey on) in bottom 8 to give the Dodgers a 4-3 lead, the final score."
  9. I came here to say this! This game was huge win in prime time. As for worst? Two years prior in 1998 - not a season opener, but a home opener: BIlls were up 28-10 in the 3rd Quarter AND 31-20 in the 4th Quarter but ended up losing 34-33 to the Tony Banks lead Rams. To make matters worse, it was so brutally hot that day. That Rams team was largely the same as the one that won the super bowl a year later, with one smaaall difference; the miracle of Kurt Warner.
  10. Say what you want, but its better than the Vikings song written by Prince!
  11. I'm pretty sure I'd like him. What clinches it for me is how many times people who root for other teams tell me how lucky we are to have him.
  12. Plus, he played for UB coach Lance Leipold at Wisconsin Whitewater!
  13. I'm 46 and think the Weeknd is fantastic. He's going to win people over.
  14. Either Bass, Knox, Daboll, Murphy, or Beasley. I say this because calling the other options "whipping boy" makes me uncomfortable.
  15. That article's great. Thank you for sharing it. I'd say what they are doing goes well beyond what baseball's done.
  16. The bubble's worked well for MLS as well. I'm just wondering if there's a way we can make football work without one.
  17. Somehow the Premier League was able to play without a bubble for nearly three months with only 20 positive tests. More contact in soccer than baseball as well. Perhaps there is something they are doing right that the NFL can learn from. Here's the data: Round 1: 17-18 May - 748 tested, with six testing positive from three clubs. Round 2: 19-22 May - 996 tested, with two testing positive from two clubs. Round 3: 25-26 May - 1,008 tested, with four testing positive from two clubs. Round 4: 28-29 May - 1,130 tested, with zero testing positive. Round 5: 1-2 June - 1,197 tested, with one testing positive. Round 6: 4-5 June - 1,195 tested, with zero testing positive. Round 7: 8-9 June - 1,213 tested, with one testing positive. Round 8: 11-12 June - 1,200 tested, with two testing positive from two clubs. Round 9: 15-16 June - 1,541 tested, with one testing positive. Round 10: 17-21 June - 1,829 tested, with one testing positive. Round 11: 22-28 June - 2,250 tested, with one testing positive. Round 12: 29 June-5 July - 1,973 tested, with zero testing positive. Round 13: 6-12 July - 2,071 tested, with one testing positive. Round 14: 13-19 July - 2,208 tested, with zero testing positive. Round 15: 20-26 July - 1,574 tested, with zero testing positive.
  18. Can we just take a moment to marvel at the fact that someone from UB made an All-Decade team? That's just awesome.
  19. Its totally Gronk. ...and yes, this show is something fun that the whole family can watch.
