Nah my friend rest easy, I've seen both play multiple times this year. It would be a fluke , just don't see it. -
All-22 Grades for Bills/Colts (The Athletic)

He always loves him some Jerry Hughes . But, according to some numbers I saw he and Addison were just Giant liabilities against the run especially. -

They don't need to take a guard round 1, unless Quentin Nelson clone is available in the 20s. Just saw Bills had 7 credited drops in the game. JA was 21/35 with the drops. 28/35 is not bad.😉 -

Like my first boss told me 35 years ago, it's not enough just to work hard! -

For me, hard to argue. I especially like how he didn't try and tell us the OL was fine in this game, and that the everything would fine if the QB just lifted everyone up. And, that the D got not only pushed around, but were outschemed early, tried to adjust, but it was too late. The Bills really did miss Edmunds and Lotulelei. Oh, and why Brieda can be an asset. -
Bigger decision is do they go with Judge? Does anyone really listen to this guy talk and think he's getting them to the promised land?

Week 12: Bills at Saints on Thanksgiving

Good my preference anyway -
Read the article. It's been a long week (month) for Bills fans, looking to be positive heading forward. I guess the eye test, and what the experts say, especially those who watch film is very contradictory to this analysis. I'm not ready to bet my life savings that this analysis proves more accurate than what I've seen/ heard. TBH, it seems pretty contrived, I know this is where the numbers led me, blah, blah, blah............well prove it, I'll check back at the end of season to see where this goes. I'm guessing we come out a lot closer to 6th or 7th seed or even out of playoffs than the conference championship. And, it won't be all bad luck. Again, hope I'm 100% wrong and they go to the SB.

You're kidding right! They NEED the ball to score. -

I'm afraid they really believe it's just a matter of cutting down on turnovers, with Josh Allen being the main culprit. They have no answers, so they put more on the QB. -

What was the Defensive Strategy?

What was the defensive strategy? To not get hurt before our Super Bowl appearance! -
Is McDermott a Wartime Consigliere?
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to DallasBillsFan1's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's never been here before, neither has Daboll. They need to progress, adjust and adapt just like the players. It's not like we have a Belichick, Walsh Parcells type who's been through it before. Even somebody like John Harbaugh has progressed through it. He either will or he won't. But, he needs to realize they have a problem and adjust- so far it hasn't happened. I think they have a game plan and don't adjust. Something to be said for sticking to your guns. But, part of being a great coach is knowing when it's time to adapt. -
I've never seen a QB, going back to when I started watching about 1970, who when pressured and his Oline doesn't provide support will react positively. I've seen Montana, Young, Rodgers and even Sir Tom Brady look bad when this happens. Heck Denver did it to Brady a couple times in the playoffs. We attempt little to no running game, he scrambled and made some plays early this year and let the line off the hook. Now teams are just playing the pass, containing him, pressuring him and covering. His coaches have no answer....yet!

What was the Defensive Strategy?
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
I saw a duo block on Phillips on one of the first runs. He was driven back initially off balance onto his back leg by Nelson/Kelly. Then after hopping back on that leg off balance they moved him 2 more yards off the line. I also saw several situations where we have not 7 or 8, but 9 men close to the box and got blown up. The guys on the field were too small. The Colts do a nice job protecting the edge too as the small guys couldn't attack from the slot. -
I think they need to go at least 4-3 down the stretch and get to 10 wins and likely the 6-7 spot in playoffs. Anything better is great!

I expect we will be underdogs at NE and at TB.

What do I want from McD? I want him to figure out this repeating picture! If he want's Daboll to stay with and feature the run more, then tell him to do it-you're the boss. Watching a performance against the Jets is a trap. The themes have been repeated by many of folks in the media and on this forum. I'm sure many of them are on his list, and he knows more than any of us. I know some of the issue are tough in season fixes and could be limiting as to the potential this year. But, we should be able to come up with more than doing the same things and repeating and hoping. Let's see it! He needs to take himself to the next level as a coach too.
