  1. Should have gone to a Bear front and put a fifth Lineman in-especially when they were against the wind.
  2. The 64 yard run never happened, we actually won 10-7 because of the fluke run being imaginary. LOL that is the take on that thread.
  3. The Pats and BB are not unhappy with their run game performance, they are thrilled. Their run game was awesome. And, every football analyst anywhere today has said as much. Some of you guys go ahead and be happy with performance, I'm not and that's not bad analysis.
  4. The run defense didn't cost us the game, but in played a role.
  5. That's hardly apples to apples 222 yards rushing is more like 400 yards passing.
  6. Nobody said it cost us the game. But, people are saying it wasn't good enough, to allow a 64 yard td run (even McD) and something like 8-9 chunk runs of over 10 yards.
  7. Okay so were good with our rushing defense then. Thanks for the brilliant overly aggressive analysis. Did the 69 yard run count or what?
  8. You can't throw away the 65 yard td run. It just should never have happened. It just jerking the numbers around to say they didn't really average 4.8/carry and gain 222 yards. It was the biggest play of the game, I mean would you just throw out the blocked punt you lost on. I'm getting the feeling alot of people are trying to misremember how dominant the NE O-line played last night. Do you really think the Pats and BB are disappointed in their line and running attack. I know one team who should be disappointed in its own. They had many more than one, and that one cannot happen.
  9. They can do that, and when we have 10-11 in the box and can't stop it even then they can play action for a big one....oh and it won't be Mac Jones throwing it.
  10. Everything matters, it's not that simple that you can ignore any aspect. You think BB would ignore little details like play calling or lack of execution.
  11. Interesting, so 46 carries for 222 yards 4.8 ypc and a 65 yard TD run and 10 chunk runs of more than 10 yards. All while facing a HS running attack and having 10-11 men inside 5 yards and knowing they were going to run. Ok Mr. Hyde, you were damn near perfect. FFS
  12. Great post! Hard to argue with. And, I didn't like Hyde and Poyer basically saying we did our job well enough, after giving up 4.8YPC and 222 yards rushing when they knew they would run. You can't just throw out the long runs and say we did our job most of the time. Where's the accountability? Getting sick of JA standing up there and taking the hit. Even McD came unhinged in the press conference.
  13. I know people don't like Sullivan, I don't either, but these guys didn't look good IMO. It's like taking the bait and retaliating. The fact of the matter is they gave up 4.8 YPC, 222 yards rushing and something like 10 chunk play 10+ yards. Their response goes to lack of accountability. You can't just throw out the long runs and say we did our job enough. Bad look.
  14. One drop? how about multiple and make a ***** play when needed? How about not committing penalties at crucial times? And, if you think its all on the offense, talk to Hyde and Poyer they agree. Our defense was plenty good enough last night giving up 4.8 yards/ carry with 10-11 men inside 5 yards? Giving up the biggest play of the game a 75 yard TD run? I'd say this team needs people focusing on doing their job and not pointing fingers.
  15. Yeah, gotta love pissing downs away like the first down run to Moss, who by the way shows no ability to read and bounce outside.
  16. This was an organizational loss. Starts with not having enough toughness, size and physicality up front. And, goes through the coaching staff not having sound strategy down and guys executing. And, apparently the leaders are now getting pissed at dumb reporters question. All that looks like to me is we are satisfied with our performance. Pathetic.
  17. Well I guess they're satisfied with the performance then. Great, no wonder we're losing, must be the predominant opinion on the team I guess. Seeing this makes the loss worse for me.
  18. He's the only reason we had a chance period.
  19. There were plays to be made out there and they didn't get made. We made too many mistakes(missed Fg, turnover by Brieda, drops and penalties by Knox) and still could have won.
  20. They're not even in the same stratosphere, Allen is so much better!
  21. Knox, Brieda made big mistakes and the D gave up a long run, combined with the usual no calls against the Pats are the difference.
