I have a simple piece of advice that should help Virgil. Don't watch any pre-game, post-game, talk shows, radio shows whatever. You know what the narrative will be and you will learn absolutely nothing between now and the game. Turn on the game on Monday at 8:15.
I still believe that this is a fundamentals game. Bills need to stay even with Pats in regards to turnovers, penalties, missed tackles, assignments, blocks etc. We do that and we will win.
Andy Reid " get me Coach Belly on the line!" , Coach Belly " Hello fat Ass, what do you want?, Coach Reid," hey Big Belly, trade idea, I'll give you Mahomes and a one, for Mac Jones", Coach Belly, "Go ***** yourself fat boy! We're good!"
It should also be pointed out that this is analytics thing, pressures lead to sacks eventually, and passes defensed to interceptions. Can be quite a jump IMO, but it seems to work for McD.
I love the narrative from the Pats fans.
They are an unbeatable juggernaut, their rookie QB will just continue to amaze, Bills will be lucky to stay in it, 6 game win streak all due to how great we are, will not lose again....and on ...and on.
We are an enormous underdog in the minds of these people, and can only hope to compete a little.
We are in a great position, the media and fans will do all they can to further this spot for us as the week goes on.
To me this is fundamentals game. Protect the ball, don't take penalties, catch the ball, tackle well, win special teams, play strong situational ball.
If that's close, and we can contain Judon. I think we win.
The key to beating NE is not ***** up really. We're better and more talented, they really thrive on being better at fundamentals, other teams mistakes and disciplined.
