  1. Can't believe McD responded in press conference by saying he wish he knew! Are you kidding me? This is the leader! I don't
  2. When you score two Tds and have a three point lead with 1 1/2 minutes left that is what matters at that point. Nothing before that matters until you watch the film and find out what you need to correct. So having said that McDermott and his D should be able to at least hold the worst offense and QB to no more than a FG. Colossal failure again at crunch by a coaching staff that has been losing the teams players since 13 seconds.
  3. To your last point, I sometimes wonder if much like teams can overboard with the "win now" mentality. Beane and McDermott have gone overboard with the "sustainability" mentality. The Carolina mentality of always good, never good enough or great. I don't really believe they've ever been all in, because much like Carolina, they've never valued the second WR position high enough for my tastes.
  4. An awful lot of needs, and awful lot of high paid older guys. I think Priorities will be dictated by who's available. Many of you have great thoughts, but again who can we get?
  5. The reality is the Bills are 4-3, could easily be 3-4, and have played one of the weakest schedules in the league.
  6. People stew over the cap way too much. Months away and there are plenty of strategies for dealing with it when its is the time.
  7. It has been for a long, long time. Too many highly technical rules open to interpretation and the increase usage of instant replay have done just the opposite of improving the officiating.
  8. I'll tell what could be worse. This offense without #17 for an extended period.
  9. McDermott doesn't allow for enough accountability to his defense, and that's week in and week out. He's always happy to talk about the offensive failures and his code word "complimentary football"-translation the offense is leaving my defense in bad situations. I wish he just step up and take accountability and say.....28-25, offense made a nice comeback and gave us the lead, we should be able to step up on defense and get the job done. My god at least you could hold them to only a FG. I think he's losing this team more and more since 13 secs. The culture seems weak due to lack of accountability everywhere. It would help if the head coach stepped up and regular said I need to be better, we need to do a better job as a coaching staff.
  10. Who said that strawman, not me. You said the coach doesn't matter
  11. Yeah the coach has nothing to do with what happens. So why do we even one then
  12. Ben Johnson Detroit OC is my choice
  13. Ben Johnson would be interesting!
  14. I honestly think he started to lose the team in that debacle. Some on the team began to doubt and now there are alot of guys.
  15. Marty Schottenheimer Part 2
  16. No McDermott would F it up
  17. The ref who Belichick had been blistering the whole 4th QTR, decided to pick it up even as you can see him on the 25 yard line, and Andrews over it by 1.5 yards.
  18. Oh come on dude the last play was BS
  19. Looks like all of Belichicks whining got him a call
  20. WOOO!!! we have a chance to escape with our asses!
  21. The second best football player on the planet.
  22. I think if McBeane actually jump all in before the trade deadline, give the younger players some room for development, and of course get some good fortune, we could still have a great year. Of course, the pragmatist in me says, we'll protect our 6th and 7th round picks, aging veterans with limited upside will play and injuries will continue. Which means we squeak into the playoffs and lose on the road in round 1.
  23. Bills 14 Pats 13 I think Bills will have trouble stopping running game, but Josh pulls out another sputtering offensive effort.
  24. Yes I agree. I thought Cook looked like he was sleep walking right from the beginning. Harris did well when given the chance. I don't get the reluctance to give Harris especially more play. He is good.
