The notion DHop is in the steep decline doesn't pass the evidence test. 7 catches for 80 yards per game on a ***** team is nothing to sneeze at and fits perfectly into his career numbers. -

Might as well do away with kickoffs and start at the 25. They want to get rid of the play anyway.- 112 replies

The 1975 Bills were number 1 in yards and number 1 in points scored. Pretty high standard to meet! -

Very nice RB group, harkens back to when NE had a bunch of different looks they threw at you. Don't need or want a bell cow in this day and age of football. -

Some people are just miserable no matter -
I am on record as saying we put too many resources into the defensive front and was fine letting Edmunds go at the price he could command. We drafted 2 offensive players to help our franchise so KUDOS a shift to the offense. I don't mind creating competition and depth a la how KC does it on defense and letting the chips fall where they may. We could have drafted one of the higher regarded LBs with our first 2 picks, instead offense I'm good with it.

As long as he can handle Chris Jones in the AFC Game I'm down with this pick! -

Louis Riddick on ESPN saying the Colts knocked it out of the park. Didn't he rip the Allen pick and rip him for years? Now he either has learned the error of his ways or he's a hypocrite. I think we know he's really the latter and very biased, as well as not on any NFL staff currently. -
Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?

Nonsense, teams make the cap work all the time. That is not a short-sighted NFL fan response. Here's a winning organization response, find a way to make it work. -
DHopkins would cost a 2nd round pick...would you do it?
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall
Of course check on the contract situation, but YES in a heartbeat. This offense becomes really tough to deal with adding him. -

If you've got a shot at her, you gotta go for it! -
For me drafting a defensive player (S,CB,DT, LB) is going to be a tough sell for McBeane. Especially in Round 1, I think they move down. I hear the Edge guys could provide some value at this point, but again a REALLY tough sell given recent history. I also think RB given we're a QB centric team is another trade back. Interior OL is another no go. To stay at 27, It needs to be a WR, a tackle who can challenge or supplant S.Brown or maybe a TE.
