Not trying to bash the kid (too hard anyway), he seems like he has some of the strongest traits ever. He'd be my fourth pick at QB, but not in a tradeup. He would have to fall and have value at the spot. He strikes me as the kind of guy people look back at these red flags and go , Why or why didn't we see that?

I hope you guys are figuring in TT post season yardage into his record. It is relevant and certainly took a toll on his body playing 19-20 games a year every year. He was so...versatile and perfect for any offense that wanted balance. I haven't analyzed the record, but off the top of my head, having seen all his games, and watching football for 40 years, he is a top 10 guy and no worse than top 15 for sure.

Thanks for the reminders. It will be tremendously disappointing to most of the fan base if we don't land one of these two (are you reading McBeane?). The trip to LA, to visit Darold by the organization, speaks volumes about what they are thinking IMO.

As I've said, I think the Bills would love to get Darnold, which makes me wonder if there isn't something to this rumor floating around about trades. I think I prefer Rosen because he's better right now, the concussion and durabiity issues aside. The Bills sending the contingent they sent to LA today to see Darnold have me thinking they believe can get to 1 or 2. Getting either of these guys will have me doing cartwheels!

Thanks for the insights. The Bills prefer Darnold as a prospect, face of the franchise, and if possible, he is the likely pick. The whole Rosen thing is interesting, will be interesting to follow his career one way or the other.

With good reason too. I'm not buying the Allen to the Bills. If you get to a position where you have a choice between Allen and one of the other big guys; it doesn't make sense to take all the risk of Allen for what would be hopefully an incremental improvement a few years down the road. I think Darnold and Rosen have been the targets all along.

I voted for Allen, probably should have picked Jackson. Anyway, seems to be pretty clear what the opinion of this board is. One of the 2 is viewed as the likely bust. The rest of the QBs people seem pretty comfortable with. And, if Thurmanator hadn't voted 6 times for Rosen his % would be 0%.

This is a referendum on Beane and his decision making. If he picks this guy by trading the resources talked about, it better workout and not in 3-4 years. This guy comes with known risk of a very high nature, he also has tremendous potential. Why would he risk everything to get maybe an incremental talent upgrade? Don't see it and I wouldn't do it.

Anybody know anything about today's Darnold meeting? Who went from the Bills would be most telling.
